Hey if Lin for 2 months of a NBA season when he was 19-20 years of age was averaging 22 ppg on near 60% ts, yes i would be very impressed and so should anyone else but that isn't what Lin did.

If that's your only argument for Doncic, then your position is far weaker than mine that with the improvements shown in the 2nd half of the season that Green is just as good as Doncic was.

I'm not following your logic. What's wrong with 90% the player of Green who is a better all-round player and another such player?

You're saying 1 and 1 when im saying that or 2 players that play both ends.

Not saying it's possible, but i would rather have Barnes and Mobley than Green and Banchero. I think it leads to winning quicker and improves KPJs value as a more natural 2.

We're putting in building blocks that all have the same weakness right now. It's a gamble that they develop on defense or we end up as another Kings and Green is our Boogie Cousins filling up a box score...

I'm not sure why you're being so stubborn other than your own personal bias...

So let me understand, if i take the time to find some 20 year old who did a nearly 60% ts% for 22 games and didn't become a star you'll apologize and shut up?

You really think either Barnes or Ivey is 90% of Green on offense? ROFLMAO

You are calling me stubborn? I suggest you take a hard look at the stupidity of this thread and then another at a mirror to see what stubbornness is.

Barnes has a higher efg% despite playing both ends.

And yes, despite that i called him 90% of the player.

If you're just going to be a homer i can just mock you for fun because there's no other reason to converse with someone not of this planet..

Screw it, wasn't hard since it was a year ago... tyrese haliburton... nice player but he took a step back after...

He was 30 games and not 22 though... i think that should count..

Not being a homer at all. You are an idiot if you think Barnes is 90% of Green, either that or a hater plain and simple. Green is a player who can get a bucket any time, any way he wants. That is infinitely more valuable than Barnes. Did you even watch Green play in the 2nd half of the season?

Ivey hasn't played a game in the NBA yet, why would you start assessing who will have the better career?

That's about as sensible as saying you're not sure if Cade Cunningham will have a better career than some 17 year old prospect currently in Germany.

Lmao... ok, so I'm thinking you must agree with me then since you omitted his defense and simply made a comment in support of my previous posts...

Let me ask, what % do you think green is of barnes or mobley only on defense?

Leave offense out of your statement since you agree with me there already....

I would say at least 70% of Barnes by the end of the season. As for Mobley, are you stupid? Well we already know the answer to that is yes, but you don’t compare a big with a guard for D.

At this point, Corey Brewer is proud that almost ALL Rockets fans associate the two players together.
