So now you treat the Rockets org as bible? They are flawed human beings like us....they never saw the KPJ mess coming and it happened before their own eyes.
They said there would be an open competition (just as in the C and PF positions) but just cause Stone had a boner for KPJ doesn't mean the org thought he was better long term, or that they were gonna trade him. Based on Green's trajectory, he likely would have been better than KPJ this year anyway, or by next season at the latest. So, it would be idiotic to make a decision on one vs. the other before seeing more of a sample size, but I wouldn't put it past Stone..
WTF are you talking about - ...like the Bible? Dude, I am 100% anti religion - I think the Bible is made up hocus pocus - I don't treat the org like anything just passing on what was said by an insider on Rox Watch. DD
That was obviously the biggest mistake of the century to have signed KPJ .... Green is just a potential star potential non star player but both are not comparable, if the Rockets thought that way then they are not even credible. Jalen had shown much more promise than KPJ at any point sans that 50 game outburst.
So pretend you are the GM, what do you do when Green and Sengun are up for extensions and are not quite there yet? Because taking a risk and paying them the max like say Lavine means you are never going to contend.....you should only max you BEST players, not the role players....right now the Rox have ZERO of them, and a hope that someone breaks out. Let's hope Green breaks out this year, and Alpi too. You just have zero class at all.....maybe you should expand your mind and join Rox watch and get yourself educated. DD
As GM, if I knew they wanted the max and I didnt think they deserved it, I would trade them. If I didnt know, I would offer them something less than the max. I would try to extend them though.
At a max level extension? That is precisely the decision the org has to make....this next offseason. DD
Simple if both show promise you offer an extension to them both commiserate with their market value. Right now neither are playing like MAX extension players but this may change by years end. If it doesn't they've both shown enough promise to offer an extension and I'm willing to bet that those extension offers will be for more money than that partially guaranteed crap that was offered to KPJ... which actually showed you how much they valued him. In any regard, I believe that Jalen has put in the work to have a much more productive year, showing not just scoring ability, but also playmaking, and defense. Time will tell, but I'm happy with what I've seen so far.
I think playmaking is where we are going to see the biggest jump from Green. To the point where Green will probably be doing more playmaking duties than FVV by mid season.
DD living rent-free in a lot of people's heads for daring to have a different opinion from the mob Right or wrong, I'm rooting for DD, and for all you haters to fail.
Well just a few from my company in the Philippines but other than those....just this one. NOT!!! I have one only. DD
