If Jalen Green is a bust then he should actually play more so that we can draft his replacement.

I would delighted if he turned out to be KMart, KMart is useful on most teams.

You can bust way harder than that, and we have seen that in many No.2 picks

Kobe was a nobody at 19. What is your point?

not smart imho if so... they gave up 2 frps on sengun and gonna ruin him trying to trade wood and they never gonna get more than 2 frp for wood... not a chance in hell

player needs to play... opportunity s not a lenghty visitor..sengun looking like trash defensively already and was spectacular to start the season

I mean KMart was a borderline all star and that's not bad at all, its just Houston really needed a franchise player so unless Green becomes one he was in one way or another a bust.... If they can land their franchise player in next year's draft and Green turns out to be Kmart then hell yeah we are in great shape to make a run for it soon than later...

Even at 18, Kobe was a more than solid defender and he knocked down 37% of his 3's as a 18 year old.

Right now, according to metrics like RAPTOR and TPA, Jalen Green is the worst player to routinely play in the entire league. That was NEVER the case with Kobe. Was Kobe the player he eventually turned into at 18, no.....but he wasn't a joke of a player like Jalen Green currently is.

It's time to completely abandon that narrative.

Green may one day turn into a decent player, but the Kobe/MJ BS that has been pushed just needs to be nuked from orbit.

    Wait ****ING KMART?

    Old Fool's gold himself?

If Green is only Kmart, you might as well fire Stone now.

Was Kobe's mother Filipina or Jordan Clarkson's? Small trivia. Something Green is also proud of.

Get his ass to the G League! Not NBA ready!

Usman not ready, sent him to the G League!
Kevin Porter Jr. last year, sent him to the G League after the trade!

“Oh he’s the number two pick! Oh this’ll look bad on the Rockets/Rafael Stone!”

WGAS? Shouldn’t matter one GD bit. Oh, he’s the number two pick so just give it to him?

“Yeah, but it’s a developmental year. Let him work through it, through his mistakes, through his ups and downs.”

Yeah, I wish you had that same mindset for the other rookies/young guys.

“Usman, go to the G League!”
    “Josh, gotta earn your minutes!”t
“Alperen, you foul too much! Defense is terrible! Stamina is bad! You gotta earn your minutes! Sorry, best we can do is 12-15 minutes a game! Daniel Theis is a pro!”

“Jalen, continue to be complete ass! We cannot bench you or reduce your minutes or send you to the G League! It’ll look bad!”

Forget the pre-draft/summer hype & comparisons…is it asking too much to play “OK” like the guys in his draft class? 1 looks pretty damn good. 3 looks pretty damn good. 4 looks good. What happened to 2?

Hell, is it asking too much to be the best rookie on his own team? Not the first best, not the second best, he’s the third best rookie on his own team!

“Want” and “need” that ROY … You’ll be lucky to finish top 8 and lucky to make an all-rookie team.

Yup, I mean that's just the nature of the business, you keep picking and picking until you hit one. Whether it's next year or the year after that. That's why you stockpile picks, it just ups your odds.

After this draft maybe the Rockets needs to relook their scouting though.

The Lakers drafted, Lonzo, Dlo, Ingram with 3 No.2 picks, they turned out to be good to very good players eventually. But none were franchise players.

    oh, my goodness!
Kobe Bryant was an All-Star Starter at 19!
You’re way too vocal for a guy that is completely clueless.

Ha! The Bully Boomer speaks! The way you like to toss around labels while being the dunce of the platform is really cute. Isnt it nap time?

    Kobe age 19 15ppg/3 reb/2ast

The player who drives your insecurities wild at age 19? 14ppg/3reb/2 assists

    LOL

You can improve the quality by just hitting ignore - its simple. Bye!

Wow, that's embarrassing. Using a raw stat line without any context in an effort to push an obviously stupid narrative.

    Good job killer.
