Dropped to 37.5% after the Laker game and his overall FG is at 39.5%......which is everything but good.
At this point we should do what we should have done with KPJ... make him an RFA and let the market decide. Of course pending how the rest of they year looks for him.
A player in the 21 draft put up these statlines last season: 42 pts 4 reb 4 ass 60 fg% 50 3p% 1 block 1 steal 41pts 5 reb 7 ass 66.7 fg% 40 3p% 41 pts 2 reb 2 ass 63.6 fg% 66.7 3p% 40 pts 4 reb 1 ass 50 fg% 44.4 3p% 1 steal 34 pts 3 reb 3 ass 66.7 fg% 45.5 3p% 2 steal 1 block 33 pts 5 reb 3 ass 61.9 fg% 80 3p% 1 steal 33 pts 2 reb 6 ass 55 fg% 50 3p% 32 pts 3 reb 3 ass 55.6 fg% 50 3p% 32 pts 1 reb 5 ass 55.6 fg% 40 3p% 32 pts 6 reb 4 ass 44.4 fg% 50 3p% He also scored over 20 pts in 58% of his games, whilst some of the people y'all revere struggled to clear 20 in any games. The flashes are there, and they're bigger than the majority of all the other young prospects in the league, whether you like it or not.
That’s good to know — I wouldn’t offer him whatever his max is. I’m willing to consider if things go well but he’s nowhere close to Max extension in my book — whatever that max may be. I’m not even sure Sengun is at that point for me.
When a player generously donates his personal stats to the team on the regular, he certainly deserves a contract that hits the absolute maximum.
KBJ signed a four year 82.5 mil a couple years ago and KBJ objectively a much better player than Green. KBJ did have off the court issues, but I don't think Green deserves KPJ's contract, let alone the max.
I’d love to have Duren, but Ivey hasn’t shown that much yet. Where does Duren play? Sengun is not a PF and Duren can’t shoot. He’d be the best backup center in the universe, but he wouldn’t stay here long term as a backup.
