According to NBA.com he is a 3 time all-star and has made a second all-nba team. And he still has a long career ahead of him with arguably his prime still not reached.

You are objectively wrong to not call him a star.

Gotcha, so I'd only have a case if your cherry picked players were better at a specific age than Green.

How about we compare your cherry picked players to their draft class in several metrics and compare that to Green? Sounds fun.

Lavine WS rank in draft class 13 VORP in draft class 6

Booker WS rank in draft class 4 VORP in draft class 3

Edwards WS rank in draft class 10 VORP in draft class 4

Beal WS rank in draft class 5 VORP in draft class 4

Jalen "budding superstar" Green WS rank in draft class 20 VORP in draft class 42

Now sure, a lot of that is because Jalen Green is such an embarrassingly pathetic defender.....but I think it's safe to say that what you think he's done and what is objectively observable and measurable are two radically different things.

I don't consider Anthony Edwards to be a star. Does anyone? Why would they? Do you think he's going to be an all-star this year?

Why don't you look at the Booker-led Suns teams before CP3 joined them? You're talking about championships. Those Suns teams never came close to making the playoffs.

Good thing no one takes VORP and winshare seriously.

Ah ****. It's like young teams get older and get better real quick.

Of course not, they don't happen to be saying what you want them to say about a certain player, so they have to be wrong.

Probably much better to just look at PPG, I hear that's the most important metric.

    Ya along with efficiency.

My dude you don't even know what VORP is. What is VORP derived from?

In the 2019-20 season, the Suns had Booker, Rubio, Ayton, Mikal Bridges, and Oubre. Is that a gutted rebuild team? They finished 10th in the Western Conference.

Btw, I'm being civil. If you continue with the insults, I'll make you look like the clown you are.

Do you think he would still be considered a star had CP3 not joined the Suns? Team success plays a big role in all-star berths.

How old was Bridges and Ayton in 2019?

I'm sorry Oubre isn't some star vet that is going to help a bunch of 20-22 year olds go to the playoffs.

Not sorry about the insults. Your premises are absurd. You expect a team as young as the Suns in 2019 to make the playoffs?

Yes. The Suns were naturally going to improve from just becoming older. They wouldn't be a finals bound team but a 6-8th playoff seed? Absolutely.

Are you totally oblivious to how idiotic you sound?

The 2019-2020 Suns missed the playoffs. The 2020-2021 Suns added CP3 and reached the finals.

    Are you trolling me?

    No I'm not.

In 2019 they won 34 games. They were still super young. Next season they were still young but that's another year of development for a young team so I would assume if CP3 didn't show up they would have improved to around 40-45 wins instead 51 wins which would have gotten them a bottom seed.

So yes Booker would still probably make a playoff berths by now, just now a finals berth..
Still a star. Odd hill to die on to not consider Booker a star.

I don't know how any of your arguments are any less convenient. I don't even know what you are referring to.

No...it's probably best you ignore that because your guy is pretty awful.

In fact, let's really cause some tears to fall.

Who has a higher TS% right now, your lover Jalen Green.....or the literal devil and cause of all suffering in the world, KPJ?

I guess it's good that no one takes TS% seriously amirite?

C'mon man, there's really no point in you continuing like this. We all hope your guy eventually develops into something special, but simply pretending he's already doing special things is a bit absurd.....he's one of the main reasons why the Rockets have been at the bottom of the league the past 2 seasons. He simply has not been good yet. Overall he's still not a net positive.

How about some logic to support this hypothetical?

I'm referring to your claim that they'd be the 6th-8th seed. There's no way to prove/disprove it, and you haven't made a single compelling argument to support it.

Everyone should take ts% seriously. It's the best indicator for scoring efficiency.

The amount you put down Green is so much more than the amount I criitixe KPJ and the vast majority of my criticism is more about fit rather than ability.

Also KPJ never has had a ts% higher than Green's rookie year.

Their ts% are less than 1% apart. KPJ has 2 years more of NBA training under his belt. If Jalen Green keeps his same scoring efficiency 2 seasons from now, I'm going to ask we move on from him and see what we can get for him
