He can be special. I can't see into the future like some of yall, nor am I blessed with the ability to accurately predict careers, but despite everything so far I believe he can be special. Will he be? Depends on Jalen Green, and the effort he puts in. As Aaron Hernandez always said: "If it's meant to be, it's up to me" ..possibly not the best person to quote, but I do like the saying
It's almost always clear in year one what type of player they will be. Jalen will be a streaky shooter that shoots an overall below average percentage, while also being a subpar defender. He isn't a "special" player.
I am just not seeing it. I don't know what people are seeing, but I am seeing a skinny kid who doesn't have basketball basics. Hard to excel when you don't seem to know the game. I am sure he could be a church league wonder, but he is far, far away from being an NBA player. Even a down the bench player. He needs time in Europe or city leagues or at a Jr. High basketball camp.
