Exactly for all the scoring last night. His best play was the block on the closeout three pointer. I want to see those type of plays from him more often,
Time to move the goalposts back from "He doesn't even show flashes, barely an NBA player." to "He had one good game, but can he consistently drop 40 with All-NBA caliber defense? If not, he's a bust.
He had an incredible game. But guys like Corey Brewer (yes, I said Corey Brewer) and Nate Robinson have dropped 50 before. So I'm hardly ready to anoint him after one brilliant game. He needs to show us consistency, and that's been the issue all along. It's never been about talent.
Wish Jalen would apologise to all the fans for playing good once every X amount of games. Right OP? Such shock. Much wow OP. This performance is such a surprise! Except it's not. And literally everyone should've known this was coming.
Mobley showed up. Green did not. Will Green stay after the loss to practice his shooting or will he be the first Rocket out the door?
That's fair Sniper, but he might surprise you yet. Last year post all-star was a surprise, no? I believe it will happen again but this time it will be much longer than just 24 games. And when that happens are you guys who are talking down right now still going to come to threads like this? I hope so. Not so that I can say I told you so. But so that all of us can celebrate our players success together.
Is it Would it be funny if I only posted gems that weren’t on the night Brewer dropped 51 What am I going to do with my witty remarks after the 15 good games Jalen has this season Jalen can have good games, he can have good stretches, and he can become a good player, right now he sucks and I will continue to drop these gems. Nobody save Danuel, Worrell and Mathews has ever been immune from my gems. Jalens welcome to make the list but he has to earn it.
You measure a player by how he plays when he has bad games. Mentality, his desire to win, the fight he puts up..... can't only talk about mamba mentality, gotta walk it too. Mental and habits are the area of development for Green, nothing else. Everybody knows he can get hot and drop 40, but it doesn't translate to playoffs
I mean- I’d trade him in a heartbeat for the guy I wanted to draft in the first place, Evan Mobley. Would anyone here not do that? Does anyone here think he was a good value at the second pick in the draft? does anyone think he looks like he will be the best player on a championship type team which is what you hope for drafting that high? I would have to think the answer to every single one of those questions is no. It was a bad pick man, at #2 in the draft. His upside looks very Bradley Beal esque…
