Both Garland and Sexton are hitting that level of age and experience where many players "get it". They are in their third year at age 22. So ya, them making large progressions make sense. Something that many Jalen Green haters don't understand for some reason as they believe a 19 year old who has played a quarter of a single NBA season is declared a bust.
Yet ironic that many of them same haters prop up KP who is also in his third season yet not remotely breaking out as a star yet.
Your clearly don't know basketball or study it. The main problem earlier in the season was spacing. Jalen Green didn't have space to operate. In addition, the team as a whole was still finding a identity. Green will go CRAZY with Mathews & Brooks on the floor. The problem wasn't Green it was the Rockets playing two bigs clogging up the paint. Green has the best skillset and is by FAR our best player
True. Same for Sengun he is not our best player either regardless of the hysteria. That would fall to one Christian Wood - by a long margin.
Who is currently the best does not need to be questioned but the certain potential to be the best in 3 plus years. Sengün's stats do not stand out to me that much but what we all see, namely great composure, great passing, has one of the best +- . If he isn't the best, I would still bet that he is the most entertaining for me and a lot of posters. In times of Covid, entertainment shouldn't be looked down on.
Yes. Wood, Gordan, Segun, KPJ, Green and JC could make a run later this year, as well as Segun if Wood is traded.
Theyre as good as they're going to be. We need potential. Green, Sengun, Christopher and Garuba might not be our best players right now, but I'd be willing to bet one (or two) will be better than Gordon or Wood are now.
Better to avoid damaging your relationship with a potential superstar. I don't think they'd try any funny business with him. He wants to play, they want him to play. If he's been out longer than expected I don't think that has anything to do with "keeping him out" for tanking purposes.
lol do you really think Wood would have beaten alpi one on one? not once in a 10 games...lolololol he cant defend alpi and alpi can very well defend him and the difference becomes even greater when its team basketball because wood is not a good team player... and alpi is a team player personified and an offensive system unto himself
