Fair enough, then get ready to experience a decade of mediocrity. Rockets fans have been spoiled for the most part, no extremely long periods of terrible basketball, perhaps you'll feel differently after 5 or 10 years of no playoffs or quick first round exits. Maybe then tanking to actually contend would be more palatable to you
Jalen can't match our energy right now tbh. He too soft at the moment. The whole team is physical at the moment and hustles for everything. Jalen will be the weak link on defense no doubt whether starting or on the bench
Thanks brother Atleast one person has common sense besides me. Mathews >green Hey green nuthuggers,Get back to me when this team wins 7 straight with green starting Lol Will take years. Lol Mathews energy and fan support alone makes him more of a keeper than "free wall" Instagram boy green I knew green would be a problem.had a bad feeling b4 the draft.
Green has a lot more potential than GM but he’s not better than Mathews in terms of contributing to winning basketball games right now. It’s not close. Jalen as-is before he got hurt was one of the worst players in the league playing regular minutes.
Hopefully he's paying attention and realizes how he needs to change his game and body. I still really like his potential, but he isn't ever going to be a lead dog. He needs to completely revamp himself this offseason.
Kid is 19. He just needs time to fill out. If you look at Jaygup he has better instant impact simply because he has more mass.
Green needs time to develop. We need to be patient. There was a time when Zac Lavine was viewed as a trash player who was injury-prone. Now he is one of the best scoring guards in the league. It takes time people.
I disagree, energy and hustle are contagious. Jalen might be getting his ass kicked if he were playing right now, but when the whole team is out there jumping on passes and diving for loose balls, you tend to join in.
The culture change was contagious and Green was playing well and part of it the last game before he went down. Take time to heal up, watch film, work on your body and game JG. He'll be fine, him and Jaygup both work hard to improve, looking forward to watching him develop.
100% true the weight is a major problem, but Christopher also has dramatically better defensive instincts and he's a natural hustle player. Hopefully Green recognizes the strength is an issue. He didn't do any noticeable strength training while he was in the G-League. Kind of a bit of a red flag, but let's hope for the best.
Mathews is 25 Jaylen is what 19 6 years from now Jaylen will be better than today’s Matthew Garrison, but you have to play him to develop I wonder what the organizations plan is Wood, Garrison, Tate are in one age bracket Jaylen, KPJ are in a different How long is the tank ? Who gets traded?
lol he was just starting to turn it on in his last 4 games.................then he got injured after blitzing in the first quarter. Mathews is a three and D guy, that is all he will be and that is ok. that is what we need from him. Green is electric and can post big scores and pass the ball pretty well
