I can’t help but look at Banchero and see the ghost of Maurice Taylor.

I’ll be honest. I’m becoming a DOF and wouldn’t draft banchero at 5…

We have to draft two way players or skilled defensive players with our picks - period

5 out mediocre offense and turnstiles on defense is not what I want to watch the next few years.. with Silas, we know we are getting the first part.

I’m starting to agree. I think the perfect match with Green is Jabari. Defense with hopefully elite shooting to go with hopefully good shooting from Green. If you can eventually find a center that is in that same mold in the next 2 seasons (good defense and elite shooter) then those 3 with Sengun would be hella fun to watch.

Chet is the best fit by far in the draft class with Porter and Green. A very far second is Jabari. This team needs rim protection.

Chet arguably has the most upside too and is the player who is likely to have the biggest impact on the game

maybe Ivey too if he ends up being a dynamic scorer and shot creator

I just ran the simulator 5 times on the tankathon website. 4 times we ended up with the 5th pick and 1 time with the fourth. Why do I feel like luck will not be on our side this year?

And in this corner, weighing in at a combined half a Zion, the Houston Rockets!

I disagree, but thats you're opinion. I've watched older college bigs try to back him down and couldn't because of his strength. He's a good passer for a young player and he plays through contact which is important. When the comparison is Howard with a soft touch around the rim, that makes more sense than another perimeter player which I think Chet is. Just like Mobley should've been the pick vs Green in my opinion last year.

    Obviously Chet.

    That's why he's unanimous top 3 pick.

And Duren may not even crack top 10.

I'm not sure how you got anything about who going where out of that clip. Its ok to like who you like. I've never said Chet was a bust or he would struggle. My personal opinion is I like Duren because of his body and skillset. He's actually a good mid range shooter to and bring physicality to the team. We will see, but I do know we need more size and strength.

    How about both?

Chet has always been my #1, but I like packaging Wood / 17 to trade up and nab Duren.

I think Duren goes 8 or 9 so gonna be tough to move up that high imo but I would love it!

Do you seriously believe Duren is better player than Chet?

Because no one in entire basketball community has Duren in top 3.
