At best, draft analysis is an opinion. Everybody has a right to their own. The dudes saying that McShay is a fraud are same dudes that couldn't decide between Leaf and Manning, who said Robert Gallery was a Hall Of Fame lock, that all passed on LeGarrette Blount. I actually watched the Senior Bowl on DVR yesterday. Locker looked bad. The Nevada kid, Colin Kaepernick looked like if you could sit him a couple of years while he learns, he could be great. But it all depends on his ability to do the mental work: pre-snap reads , anticipation of receivers breaking coverage and check downs. If he knows where he's throwing he can definitely get it there.
Really interesting article. I had never really thought about the implications for the prospective players. As much as I feel sorry for guys like Snead and Woodson that might have been misled by McShay, you have to base the decision on more than one opinion.
