Anyways how credible is Jake Fisher? If he's spreading rumors of trade discussions that aren't even legally allowed before then is this a credible source? If the dude doesn't know basic CBA rules...

 

Nobody is untouchable yes but that doesn't mean you can do prostate check on 20 y/o kids. First Sengun and now Green let them grow ffs i thought we were 5 years away from being contenders so why would we rush it?

 

I think Green ends up a better player than Brown.

This Jaylen Brown to the Rockets stuff is so bizarre.

First, I highly doubt that Jaylen Brown wants to go from the team with the second best record in the NBA, that was in the Finals last year and are the favorites to win it all this year - to a team that had the second worst record in the league.

However, lets assume for some reason that the Celtics decided that they were going to trade Jaylen Brown - that would be dealing the second best player on a team that is elite - if they make that deal, it isn't going to be for what the Rockets have to offer, because the Celtics will want to win right away.

The whole thing makes no sense.

Trading Jalen Green would be really dumb unless the Rockets have decided they don't like his upside - and I don't think that is the case.

The Rockets, like every other team, can want to do lots of things - but somethings are more likely than others.

Losing for 3 seasons - getting guys like Jalen Green, Alpren Sengun, Jabari Smith, Tari Eason and a top 5-6 pick this year -- and then breaking that up for older players in trade would be really short sighted.

This. I really don't understand why someone would say Jalen Green is untouchable because people don't want to trade him for players who've reached their ceiling and are at best barely a top 20 player.

A dude who at the same age as Green averaged more turnovers than assists and as of now at his peak still has a worse assist to turnover ratio than our 21 year old "shot chucker with blinders". Hell no

 

If we really are entertaining Jalen for Jaylen, it's all for Harden and to have a defender next to him. That's the problem. Why throw everything we suffered through away for a small window with past his prime Harden who will be making mega bucks at an age where he will highly likely decline to savvy high iq decoy. Harden had his chance. If he couldn't get it done with us, ran away from us to super team up and fail with KD, and Kyrie and then fail with the MVP Embiid. WHY TF WOULD HE SUCCEED HERE...with Jaylen Brown?
I'm really worried that guy still has way too much power and he's not even a Rocket. Tilman mentioned him at the Ime intro. That's sus. The culture started falling apart when Harden had all the power. I thought we were changing the culture, not giving it all back to our abusive ex as soon as they come running back.

Here's an idea. Tell James to kick rocks and put Jaylen the 2 way defender NEXT TO Jalen and have a near decade wide window.
