who gives a crap what he said, Matt Schaub went to Carolina and was down 14-0 and helped lead the Texans to 34 straight points without even blinking an eye that's something Mr. Carr would not have done and we might be 5-0 if Green was never hurt.
Well...that and it always looks stupid when the guy holding the clipboard wearing a ballcap is talking trash.
He said something like he was happy that he was on a team with talent. As for the tread I guess I have should have put it in the hangout to begin with since it does not directly speak to the Texans. Just their first pick ever.
John Clayton just reported that the Panthers will have to adjust from Delhomme's throwing style to Carr. He said that the coaches like Carr's accuracy and will likely throw the deep ball more. Okay. Methinks John Clayton was fed some misinformation.
Most of Carr's long balls were just hail-mary's that AJ went up and caught. I don't ever remember him hitting a receiver in stride.
that's inaccurate. he hit Jabbar Gaffney in stride once right in the shoulders. unfortunately, since Gaffney never expects a ball to be thrown his way, he never turned around.
Oops, I forgot about that one. It was back in 2004, right? So, let me ammend my statement to say that Carr once hit a receiver in stride back in 2004. My bad.
Report: Panthers sign 43-year-old Testaverde Carolina makes move after Delhomme goes down for season SportsTicker Updated: 56 minutes ago The Carolina Panthers agreed to terms with veteran quarterback Vinny Testaverde, according to a report Wednesday on ESPN.com. Financial terms were not disclosed. According to the web site, the 43-year-old Testaverde will join the Panthers on the practice field Wednesday afternoon. A 20-year veteran, Testaverde certainly would provide experienced leadership to a Carolina team ravaged by injuries at the quarterback position. Starter Jake Delhomme will miss the remainder of the season with an injured throwing elbow, which reportedly will require “Tommy John” surgery. David Carr, who the Panthers acquired in the offseason from the Houston Texans, will replace Delhomme as the primary signal-caller for Carolina (3-2). But Carr, a former No. 1 overall draft pick, suffered a back injury in last Sunday’s 16-13 victory over the New Orleans Saints. After being replaced temporarily by rookie Matt Moore, Carr returned in the second half. An undrafted free agent, Moore was Carolina’s only other healthy quarterback prior to the reported signing of Testaverde. The 23-year-old Moore entered the preseason in competition with Brett Basanez for the third-string job. But Basanez suffered a wrist injury late in the preseason and was placed on injured reserve. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/21220439/
remember david used to throw the ball downfield the first 8 games of 04? what happened. remember the "almost" comeback against minnesota.
I don't know, man. Probably pretty old. Like maybe 42, or 44 years old. Perhaps 41 or 45. Definitely one of those 4.
