The lunch special doesn't seem like much at first, but you will feel very full afterward. (Usually soup, 2 empanadas of choice, dessert empanada, drink)

I don't use that one, but sometimes I will text something like "yes, I understand your response and I did indeed think it was very gelastic, whimsical, mirthful, farcical, if not downright capricious, diverting, jocose, jocular and risible."

I have it saved as a 'quick text'.

O M G. I see a fried egg, ham, cheese, and lettuce and tomato all playing co-stars to a nice piece of beef tenderloin. I need to go there, I would eat so much beef.

OMG!!!! I used to live in Palermo Chico near Plaza Las Heras. Two blocks from this lomito sammich place. 6 pesos for a sammich and fries. Which at the time was $1.50.

Those things are massive. Freeking breakfast, lunch and dinner rolled into one.

    Delisioso!

FYI Someone told me they're Uruguyan in orgin. Makes sense since they have them on every corner in Colonia and Montevideo.

They're up to $2 now. Pretty steep. Milanesa sammich is also good, but prefer the non-fried.

The all-day-sandwich is a great thing.
