Who knew about this? Sorry if its already posted. Was just reading up on the guy and couldn't believe this. After playing a full 4 years in college, going undrafted, getting injured in a training camp and playing in foreign leagues, I want massive success for this guy. Let's go JT.
This is a superhero origin story if there ever was one. The fact that he could overcome this and make it all the way to the NBA shows what kind of character this young man has. I think we got a steal in Jae’sean Tate.
This one is a bit harder to read with quotes from him: https://www.dispatch.com/sports/201...ter-moms-murder-when-he-was-8?template=ampart
Eek. Not sure i can read that. But man am I glad for him to be in the NBA and ill be cheering hard for him.
he is basically Patrick Beverly with the same grits but with bigger body ,more skills and higher BBIQ
So glad we have such a strong at the heart kinda guy on our team, i believe strong at heart guy got the killer instinct to hit the clutch shot which we need most for yrs. wish him learning the game fast n making his name in this league.
From what we've seen so far , I don't think Mike , Dan and Tony could have kept him off the court. He's earning minutes .... Where's Bruno ? .... holding down GG's seat on the Rockets bench.
Super refreshing. I don't think we talk about Sterling Brown much, either, but his 3 point shooting and ball-handling has been nice, and underrated. We need utility guards like that. Half of the reason we feel that we have so much depth now is because we use it. So many years of JVG, Adelman, McHale and DAntoni. Nice to get a young experimenter in there.
Love Tate's energy and defense. We need more dawgs on defense and he brings that mentality with PJ. He's also overcome tragedy and adversity, that builds the kind of character that will make this team stronger when we need it most. Great pickup by Stone, I'll be cheering for this young man's success!
