Sounds like we're putting that man-child to work. Glad it's nothing serious.

Yeap. Drafting Sammy Watkins, Greg Robinson, or Blake was a crazy @$$ idea... What was I thinking. You're right tmac, Clowney was the only way to go.

Mario 2.0-Would also state that he is a better version.
I am hoping the injury bug isn't as bad as the first guy though!

Clowney and Mario have very little in common and a minor sports hernia doesn't change that. They aren't similar in style or temperment, saying Mario 2.0 is a knee-jerk kind of thing that I'd expect from someone like Remii, and not an actual thinking person.

That said, I'm sure we'd all be thrilled if he was Mario 2.0 because that would be fearsome next to Watt, but I think his skill set along with his desire to be the best and the fact that he won't be expected to be "the guy" will make him a lot more than what Mario is/was.

It isn't knee jerk. They have similarities that you have a freak athlete DE/OLB prospect getting drafted number one over all. Mario had issues with sports hernias (Clowney is having them before TC has even started)and I am here saying I feel that Clowney will be better. No need to be a jackass LOL.

I don't understand what you are trying to say(bolded), proof read before you fire shots across the bow.

You are comparing dissimilar players due to a sports hernia, I think that's flawed. Adrian Peterson also had issues with sports hernias...why not just compare them while you're at it? They are both high first round picked athletic football players too.

Like I said before, if Mario was available in this draft locked into a rookie scale contract many teams would consider taking him #1 overall.

Adrian Peterson had surgery at the beginning of 2013 and he struggled during the 2013 season... And now he just had to have surgery on his groin. Difference is _ Adrian has pretty much already had a full career _ Clowney hasn't even touched an NFL field yet.

Sports hernia may be a minor surgery (if there is such of a thing as "minor surgery") but judging by Adrian (since you are comparing them) it can lead to other problems.

Thanks for pointing that out Bobby. Great job.

Fair enough, I accept that as your opinion....however that opinion speaks negatively as to the quality of your judgement.

Remmii, Bobby... PLEASE SHUT THE **** UP AND GIVE US BACK OUR TEXANS FORUM!!

We all get it. You both have very strong opinions. We all do. Most of us, however, manage to convey those opinions without belittling the opinions of our fellow posters.

Those who have been here a while understand there is a deep comraderie amongst us. We're knowledgable members of the most reputable sports board on the planet. Clutchfans has grown to this great stature because of reasonable, intelligent discussion... something it appears you two are incapable of. If you guys want to go have a pissing contest about who's predictions are going to be right, take it to the D&D where they're well versed in poo-flinging. I promise, you'll fit right in over there and they probably won't even notice that you're completely off topic.

However, if you want to keep posting here, either prove to us somehow that you're capable of seeing the future or change the *bleeping* tone of your rhetoric.

Sorry to everyone else. I'm just sick and tired of coming in here to read some intelligent discussion about my favorite football team, only to find some idiots yelling about how this or that is going to happen. I'm done being silent on the subject.

How about post something intelligent or on topic rather than whining and flinging poo then? You don't have to see any post you don't want to, there's a reason why I blocked Remii, he never has anything intelligent to say and I was tired of seeing his trolling....now I don't have to. Follow suit. Hell block me if you feel like it, I really don't care but you only add to the nonsense when you go completely off topic with your whining.
