Nash had handles and a shot! Plus he could pass... Not Reed. Reed had one good game in the NBA and two maybe three in the G-League.

I think the main thing is people are HOPING Reed lives up to the expectations, Rockets FO and Fans alike. To be honest, I have never been impressed, even going back to college, because he's been so sporadic; good game, followed by a bad game.

However, Im a Rocket's fan and Im going to cheer on, who's ever in Rocket's Red!

Defense is not overrated! Come on DD, you know better than that! The best players are TWO-WAY Players, correct?

Players like Nash, Barkley, Curry, Harden were/are so good offensively until it negates their efforts on the defensive end. So, their teams surrounded them with defenders. You can't win big without defense.

It was a very weak draft, the Rockets needed shooting, so the went with the player who had the best shooting stats.....plain and simple.

The Rockets value him, because he was a #3 pick.

I thought for year 2 Reed looks fine on offense. He has to share the ball next to stars who will be taking most of the shots. Him putting up something like 10/5/5 would be just fine for our team as long as it's efficient.

It's the defense I'm concerned about and it's not entirely his fault on that end. He does get caught ball watching, losing track of his guy who backdoors him, I already saw this happen at least 3 times the last 2 games. He also has trouble staying with his man because he's smaller than JD in length and height. Reed often just allows his man to drive past him while he goes for the steal.

On the offense end, we clearly see that teams respect his shot so they won't leave him wide open and that's already a plus because Sengun and Amen both need space to operate. Reed is like our Kenny Smith, he just needs to hit shots and play his role. He doesn't seem to mind his role either and won't complain like Whitmore or Tari in that sense.

    Reed Sheppard still is underdeveloped.

Should've stayed at Kentucky and develop more. His Draft Stock was really high, that he had to leave Kentucky.

Can he at least be at Goran Dragic Level.

Goran Dragic was a Assassin at a young age, off the bench he was destroying.
