Sometimes it seems like Jack thinks he's that character. Maybe he's figured out that people respect that Colonel more than himself.
I disagree. Are you saying that a fan has the right to interrupt (disrupt) an NBA game? Javie wasn't the guy that Jack was yelling at, either. Javie would have thrown him out if given the chance. That's why Jack wasn't yelling at him, but the other ref.
how did he disrupt the game? he yelled at an official, like i'm sure 20,000 spurs fans do everytime tim duncan gets a foul. he didn't tackle a ref, he didn't run out onto the floor with a picture of carmen electra, he stood up and yelled at a ref.
And if a regular fan would have jumped up and made a spectacle of himself, what would have happened? The guy would have been escorted out fast! Come on man. Open your eyes. The only reason he wasn't thrown out was because he was "Jack."
The funniest thing was that when she leaned forward and you could kind of see down her shirt the announcer was talking about getting the right camera angle. I almost died laughing!
You guys trip me out! Talkin bout some gurls boobs! I dont mean to judge her but her boobs werent that big!
I know that Jack was yelling at Javie at some point. Either that or my eyes were deceiving me. He was yelling at the other ref mainly, but he was definitely yelling at Javie too. It happened when Javie rotated over to the sideline (the refs rotate positions after each foul). But to the first point: no, I do not believe a fan has the right to interrupt a game, especially in the manner that Jack did (being disrespectful to the refs); however, I do believe that Jack has the power to lay it into the refs without having the reprecussion of being kicked out. He has that power because he's a courtside ticketholder for eternity, he is uniquely famous, and most importantly I believe the Laker crowd would go crazy if any ref kicked Jack out. So unless the refs want to get their asses kicked, they wouldn't do it. None of them have the balls to do it. Now I know it's a double standard, but it just feels so damn good to see Jack do that all because Steve Javie is a big time A-hole in my book. He is. He really really is. I swear. This is not a one game judgement. This is me coming to a conclusion after years and years of watching this A-hole operate. He is the Rasheed Wallace of NBA refs. I think Rasheed Wallace has no class. If Javie was a player, he'd be even worse. So I'm not really saying anything other than, didn't it feel so damn good to see Jack dig into the refs like that? Come on! That's a fantasy for like every hardcore sports fan. Jack was wrong, but he has power, and it must have felt so good letting loose of some refs.
They werent that big! I guess since I live around people that have WAY bigger boobs than hers!! See people in my Family are very big chested!!
You have to nip that in the butt before it gets out of hand. Thus, you make a statement: No one, even Jack, is above the rules. Javie gave the security police a message, "If Jack makes another commotion again, kick him out." Jack was on thin ice. Notice that he toned it down after that? He didn't get out of his seat the 2nd time. By the way, the refs would NOT get their asses kicked. There's this thing called "jail" that unruly fans don't like to go to. The fans might yell and cry about it. But so what? Let them. Boo-hoo.
I didn't mean literally get their asses kicked. But I'll bet a 10 spot that there would be debree a flying if Jack were to be booted. I'm not condoning it nor would I ever do such a thing cause it's dumb and jeapordizes (sp?) safety. I just believe in never underestimating the stupidity of Lakers fans. Barkley said the same as you during the TNT halftime show, that Javie wouldn't put up with that crap. But Javie did so in the sense that he would have already thrown out any other fan. Totally different sidenote: When that fan in San Antonio had a Carmen Elektra poster, Barkley said something about it (I can't remember, but it was inconsiquential); however, Barkley has lost his memory. Cause in 1992 or 1993, whenever Sir Charles was with Phoenix, some fan (I forget where) stood up under the basket while Chuck was shooting free throws, and unrolled this lifesized poster of a bikini clad chick. The size of this poster blows the Carmen one out of the water. Anyhow, the Chuckster laughed his ass off at the line. I was waiting for him to comment on that. The TNT crew needs to get that clip.
