"I'm gonna need a hacksaw" is one of my favorite moments in this show.

Absolutely amazing finale IF there's a Season 10. That was one of the more powerful episodes in the history of the series. That said... would definitely feel empty if that's the way it ends.

*goes back to searching "24 renewal" for clues*

So, I guess they left it open for more "24" in the future.

Jack headed to Crimea for vacation! ;)

I need to get me a sword. Never know when you may need to revenge decapitate someone.

    First China, then Russia.

Jack collects torture scars like visa stamps on a passport

The 12 episode format is much better, but the UK/China/Russia storyline was a huge stretch. The Brits just let US agents start shootouts and didn't blink when US drones bombed Wembley stadium. Jack went from being tortured to running ops and security for Heller. The president backing China down by "sending them a file" that has circumstantial evidence. 'Murica just cuckolding the rest of the world.

Really well done season in my opinion. Would love to see them bring it back for another.

This was one of the best seasons of the show. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I think they should give it a few years and then do another one.

Can someone please do better background checks so CTU/CIA/whatever doesn't have traitors in it all that time?

That's what sucks now is the uncertainty of the future of "24". From reading one article, obviously they wanted to end it in a manner that would be a proper ending if it really is the end while also planting the seeds to allow for a future film or TV series.

There is obvious audience demand and that was a very good "24" season that rates up there when you compare it to all the rest of the seasons. I can't see it being over.

I think everyone who made the show is pretty much exhausted from it because it is a grueling schedule and show to make. Once everyone winds down in a year or two, hopefully everyone will get back at it.

If they make it, then Fox will show it I'm sure. I haven't checked the ratings but I assume they were good.

It feels like only a movie would $ettle for a proper ending. Then comes the $equel.
