we can’t keep changing the goal posts man. He’s already averaged 36% for an entire season - 9 games can’t disprove that. You’re sounding angry man. It's partially Silas’s fault he’s not consistent enough yet, yes. Are you surprised that the coaching staff matters in a players development?
If Ime is thinking of making any trades at the deadline, Jabari would be at the top of the package going out. Jabari has been a massive disappointment, I thought this would be the year we would see major improvements but he has instead, regressed.
Not angry. Just not going to put on the usual Clutchfans blinders and give excuse after excuse for poor play. Again…if he was coming off the bench, sure. So be it. But he’s starting and closing games, and more often than not he’s a net negative. He’s not immune from criticism.
No one said he’s immune from criticism, just pointing out you’re extrapolating a 9-game sample as though it’s definitive. You have a minimum 36% shooter, he averaged it for a season. That’s more definitive of who he is as a shooter. The clutch fans blinders myth. We’re the most negative about our players out of all nba fans how can we can have blinders on? Everyone is impressed by our start and touting us as a team to watch. Over here people talking about whether we have anything worth keeping, whether we should dump Cam and Jabari because of 9 games. Honestly it’s just less patience on this board. Everything happens a little later than we want, in the meantime everyone acts like there’s no way things can end up going well if it’s not right now.
I get he is only 21, but this is 3rd year and has not improved much at all. I hope this is the season.
Him losing all arc in his shot since college is crazy. Either the coaching staff is not working with him enough, or he’s unwilling to change.
Worst starter in the league and frankly never earned it. It was handed to him day one for reasons I don't understand.
Man isn't even able to stat pad vs pistons is concerning. Losing confidence and having a subpar playmaker in fvv might derail his career with us as a rockets. I do hope he gets better but I doubt it with ime and fvv running the show.
lol he’s not the worst starter in the league, calm down. This is what drives me nuts about this board — the negative hyperbole.
Bench him and give him the green light from midrange when he comes in. His turn around middies are very good. The Rockets get bench scoring. He gets his confidence back.
People like @Houston77 pumped Jabari up to be some superstar when he can’t even handle being a below average role player. Anything over 15 mpg is too many right now
Again, I just said you were too premature with him. I never said he was a superstar. Hey, but you keep being premature. That seems to be your thing.
So after what you know now was I premature or just prescient?? Some people just see things before others
Whenever I think the Rockets drafted poorly just because the guys they took #2 overall one year and the guy they took #3 the next year are only the second best player drafted by the Rockets that season......i just remember how poorly the Pistons did and I'm relieved. Ivey and Holland are straight trash
