Very impressive performance by Bari tonight, especially considering that this was his first game back from injury.
Jabari was the glue we have been missing, my goodness. Unbelievable poise for a 20-year-old. Now bring me Tari and let's make a run!!!
He averages 35mpg in January. I might be mistaken, but Udoka seems to lean on him as a "fix-it". Not as in running plays for him, but putting him back on the court to steady the ship on both ends.
It will be super interesting to see who gets max contracts here - you can’t give it to them all. Jabari doesn’t seem like a franchise cornerstone ceiling necessarily but he also could be one of the best two way players in his prime just because of his floor as a guy who does everything really well. I mean in some ways he is more essential then Sengun even though you probably will never run an offense through him.
Last year, I remember Smith being wide-eyed and starstruck playing against the Lakers. There's a video of him joking with LeBron James during the game about how his dad had played against the Lakers star. A year later, and it seems that all he wants to do is take care of business and get the win. His development and growth has been impressive.
Jabari always does his best and plays for the team, he is not selfish. The real star of the team is Jabari.
It's fun but also kind of boring being a big Jabari fan on here because there's no group of dudes trying to tell you that he sucks and the rockets need to trade him
