It so happens that your body is your youngest but fittest at 21-22......goes for females as well....

After 27 your body is starting to wear down and becoming old.....

That is just biological clock and for sure society wants you to drink after turning 21 but that has nothing to do with athletics.

The body is already able to soak up and digest alcohol when you are 17-19.....

All I have done is empirically outlined that he is among the top rebounders in the game. One wonders, if height is the point of leverage in this discussion then why are there only two of the many NBA forwards with better numbers?

If you think that proves your point, a minor qualm about the word elite then let’s define it for you, since you don’t know what it means.

“a select group that is superior in terms of ability or qualities to the rest of a group”

He is a top 5% rebounder and top 4 non-center. That sir, is a superior rebounding power forward.

Good day to you and your factually inaccurate take on this.

You took the time to point that out?

    Obviously I meant legally.

There's so many bad posts you could spit that kind of nonsense on. I think my point was valid. But hey we all have opinions.

People are odd. Jabari has the 5th most rebounds ever accumulated for a player under 21. With the 4th being Lebron James having 3 more rebounds with 31 more games played.

Crazy a** fans acting like Jabari is 24 years old and should be averaging 13 rebounds a game. There is so much young talent on the Rockets now people have a at zero patience.

If every Rockets player drafted top 5 isn’t averaging 25 ppg next season the rockets should probably trade them all start over tank again and see where they’re at in 5 years in my opinion. sarcasm

I do not think it is nonsense either way.....I thougth it noteworthy that the US had a very late drinking age compared to other countries.

Also why I think 21 year olds in the US have become less mature......your society has always treated them like they were not allowed to drink they are seen as immature citizens.

Guess there are those 21 year olds that are mature beyond their years.

    • It is no coincidence that the NBA Draft got the age range of 18-23 year olds entering the league.
    • Sports is an industry that exploits humans' athleticism for money, profit, prestige and gain...at the perfect young age.

    • And basketball prime is considered at an age when the athletic abilities are about to decline in a few years later.....because the mind and skill level have reached a new level of excellence.

    • Simply put the NBA is the perfect money making machinery.

Dichotomy of barely legal drinking age but has to develop and shoulder responsibility on a bad team or on some Play In teams even.

Sports will drive young humans to become mature beyond their years, that is a given.

It's weird man. Like this is pretty low stakes. We're just a bunch of goof offs who love the squad. It's really okay to just say "oh dip! idk he was like that go on then board man."

But no you get some bozo digging in and making **** up about height and Rasheed Wallace or whatever. I don't care anymore man, if that guy hates this team so much that he isn't even happy to have one of the best young rebounders in the league log the **** off and let the rest of us enjoy something.

Yes. Just enjoy the ride. It's okay to be critical. Otherwise again just enjoy your team and the entire trip along the way. Yao and Tmac and Harden Paul/Howard did not end up the way everyone that likes the Rockets wanted. Overall I still have good memories.

I don't think he hates the team. He is just old school. He doesn't like big man hanging out in the perimeter. He likes bigs banging down low and I am guessing he hates how the game has moved away from centering around dominant big men.

Not really. I just think too many guys fall in the trap of nit playing to a strength. It's the common aau circuit play. I like Jabari, I just don't see anything more than a 4th or 5th option on a championship caliber team. He's stiff and he's not a fluid natural basketball player when I watch him. If he turns out to be as good as Rashad Lewis, then that's what we have to deal with.

I think Jabari will be a cornerstone of this team for years to come, but will he even be a regular starter next season when Steven Adams is healthy? Can Jabari push Dillon Brooks to the bench?

I would go more like 3rd option for a ceiling, 4th option for a floor. I mean, who is the third option on Dallas? PJ Washington? Jabari can be better than PJ Washington. (Might already be.)

That makes sense if he can at least be close to that. He has a ways because he's stiff

Rasheed is saying playing simple ball can come back and be effective. In the nba like most league's its monkey see monkey do. So when he described Edey and the way he effect defense and the easiness at which offense can be produced with him. I'm in that belief too. If JaBari could be more young Horry like, he can play the 3. Stay his weight, just get stronger and play him at the 3 with Sengun and Edey
