I can tell you are a big fan of blindly believing in hype. That's probably really smart. I said that Henderson needs to learn how to shoot, that being a 27% 3 point shooter in the G league is a red flag....because it is. I know, I know, that's clearly enough to make you cry. Can't be helped.
Undeserved hype gets players drafted higher than they deserve to be drafted all the time....as the Rockets have gotten to know very well the past few years. That said, I know that you don't actually have opinions of your own, you are just here to mindlessly parrot whatever other people told you about the most hyped players.....so of course you'd be shocked to hear that Scoot Henderson struggled in his brief G league stint at all. Maybe he works on it and it ends up being no big deal, maybe it remains a fatal flaw. Note how I'm not saying one way or the other, just pointing out red flags.....but of course that's enough to make you cry, because of course it is. Get it all out my guy.
Your opinion is that other people have an opinion and you mindlessly agree with whatever they say. I guess that's a type of opinion, not a very valuable one, but it's technically something. Thank you for adding that very valuable opinion to the board. We're all better for it.
He's already at a level that the opposition will need to double him on any drives through the lane. He has the ball handling and vision to create on those opportunities. Has the strength, quickness and athleticism to attack at will and a money mid range. No doubt you're right.
Jabari flashed his potential many times. Once he gets coached up and becomes consistent, he is absolutely still a top 4 pick. He will be able to get his shot off anytime he wants and can guard 2-5. It will be fun to watch.
in the G league, a league that was dominated by scrubs like Terrence Jones and Isian Hartenstein.... Nix was doubled in the G league too. It means basically nothing. Henderson was SOOO dominant in the G league, he put up a staggering 53.7 TS%. Jalen Green is a fairly low efficiency scorer in the NBA and even he managed a 65% TS% in the G league.....because the G league is a joke. I know, I know, we're supposed to blindly go on hype.
It's over. A rookie didn't hit his ceiling. I hope to see Jabari playing Puerto Rico or Taiwan next season.
I mean, sometimes. Remember the Jaden Ivey hype last year? How many "experts" were fawning over him? He looked pretty terrible this season didn't he? I think if we pull the tape, there were some people here telling others that would happen while some wanted him on the Rockets... Hype over substance happens every single year.
This redraft is confusing. Jabari's ranking is accurate based on production, but then you have Chet that high. HUH?
Of course you don't have an opinion. Be sure to let me know when someone finally tells you what to think.
Paolo still 1st...... remember how the GARM thought we needed more defense!?!? LOL. Oh well, we never had a shot at the best player in the draft.
