Iam still not high on jabari. He got bad BBiq like green and tari. Cant create for himself and think he is the next MJ plays 70% of the season bad and yelling the best rockets player sengun. What a 3 pick waste
Based on his performance, he's probably not a top ten pick in a redraft, but there's hope that eventually he becomes the 3 and D "taller Ariza" type many hope he'll become. But there's no sugarcoating it, he was awful his rookie season... though I'm sure we'll have people blaming his poor shooting on a scapegoat.
*Scapegoat in da house..... LOL the bias!! .... Holmgren missed the entire season AND Shaedon Sharpe didn't even make neither 1st or 2nd All-Rookie Teams! In hindsight, I would move Jabari up considering the Joke of a coach and the tanking mandate that he was relegated to from the start!! I can't imagine either of those two cards that he was dealt having a positive influence on his development!!! Go Rockets!!! ....... ....... .......
I get why he'd be so low on a list like this, but a redraft after one season is such an asinine exercise. One year isn't remotely a large enough sample season. I'm guessing they're also considering the whole season here rather than factoring in growth and more recent play. No way that post-All Star break Bari was 8th best: 15/8/2/1/1.
Seems like someones job is to write articles and they needed to come up with one quick. "Journalism" has become an utter joke.
Can't take this redraft seriously when a guy who has yet to play a single game after suffering from a season ending Injury is rank 3 over those who actually played a complete season. Folks don't factor in that Smith had a sht coach and faux pg who didn't even got him involved into the offense. Understandable.
Lol Chet missed his entire rookie year but somehow deserves to be higher than Jabari? Like in a redraft if Rox hate Jabari's performance why will they turn around get somebody who broke his leg from the wind pressure of LeBron blowing by him?
The Rockets were in tank mode for much of the season. The players lost confidence in the coach. Eventually the ownership and management realized the Silas wasn’t going to right the ship. Jabari is an incomplete grade at the moment. He showed some flashes, but he was obviously overwhelmed at times too. With the proper head coach he’ll have this season, it will show as to what eventual player he’ll becomes. Is he an MVP caliber, an all-star, a key starter, a strong rotation player, or an NBA reserve? But he did have some good showing that make you hopeful.
This is precisely what Clutchfans said before the Draft, that Chet was a sure great player if his frame holds up. Or at least many said it. It surely is a love letter by the writer to Holmgren. It is his take. Banchero's shooting deteriorated in the second half of the season and I see some doubt by the "experts". I am perplexed by the last 2 drafts. Not worth the hype right now. Holmgren out, Cade is sort of below expectations and also out.......dang.....Banchero is very good but also not perfectly checking those boxes. Whatever Draft!
