My guess is that he is using every medical excuse he can to reduce the suspension and to try and gain sympathy. It's not working. But if it is true, and he is diagnosed, many NBA careers have been ruined because of addiction. The Rockets have 3 of the top 10. Lloyd, Wiggins, and Lucas. So it's not unprecedented. Personally, I think it's just his ego getting the best of 'em.
