our record vs the east has nothing to do with iverson. Our record against them should matter. And that was TWO seasons ago, that doesn't count. But francis did have a migraine when AI scored 58.

i hate questions like these because you can swear up and down that so-in-so is better but you can really prove it till they actually play 1-on-1 . My bet is on Francis though!

Have you watched AI play before? If so, then you would know that his FG% is piss poor because he's the one who has to take the tough shots with 1 sec on the clock. That is how his FG% goes down the toilet.

    Before you say something, think.

Good point. Francis hasn't guarded anyone for 5 seconds, much less a whole game...

Do you know how many shots per game Iverson has to take???
And how many players shoot over 40% when taking that many shots???

Larry Brown has designed their offense to get Iverson the ball to score. Iverson's surrounded by offensively challenged players (with the possible exception of Derrick Coleman when he comes to play). So basically his teammates count on him to take the majority of their shots and score.

Would you prefer Mutombo trying to create a shot for himself or others? Or perhaps Matt Harping (from last year)?

Fact is that Iverson is the only offensive player that Philly has who can create scoring chances for himself and others.

sorry, no. b/c no players take that many shots if they know they cant make them

then he shouldnt take that many shots! why? coz a 40%FG will lead its team to lose

I meant he wasn't assigned to guard Iverson, but you knew what I meant, didn't you?

Cuttino Mobley guarded Iverson that night.
