Iverson also led his team to the 2nd round of the playoffs 2 straight years before last year. The guy plays with inferior talent, but together they make for a team that consistently makes noise in the playoffs. The amount of heart this guy puts on the floor is just amazing. His field goal % is not as important as his abillity to contribute to his overall teams' scoring. Scoring over 30 points a game, handing out 5 assists, and generating countless of other points off a series of passes is what truly matters. The guy hands out less than an assist a game compared to Steve Francis. He is not some monomaniac with an obsession to score. He knows how to create opportunities for his teammates and that is what makes him a remarkable playmaker.
And than after the game Iverson said his teammates weren't playing with enough heart, and weren't hustling. Maybe because they just stood there and watched him brick jumpers the whole game. 11-30 is pretty bad.
