I read it 2. Mullin is an idiot. I wouldnt even trade Biedrins straight up for AI.
31 year old 2 MAX years left and Biedriens is 21 and becoming a beast.... never trade big for small especially when the big can be a monster (ála ben wallace) and the small will only get worse.

if they're they still under the minimum and don't make a move, they just pay the difference to the nba, and the nba redistributes it among the bobcats player.

    How about
    MIN:
Trades Randy Foye and Eddie Griffin to PHI
Trades Mike James and Ricky Davis to HOU

    PHI:
    Trades Allen Iverson to MIN

    HOU:
Trades Rafer Alston, Bob Sura, 1st round pick to PHI
    Trades Bonzi Wells to MIN

    ROCKETS:
    PG: James/Lucas/V-Span
    SG: McGrady/Head/Snyder
    SF: Battier/Davis/Novak
    PF: Hayes/Howard/Padgett
    C: Yao/Mutumbo

James is an upgrade over Alston and Davis gives us insurance against TMac going down (something Bonzi was supposed to do).

Philly gets Foye (who they really want), a pick, and the only contract they have to take on is Rafer's, which isn't too bad.

Wolves get Iverson and maybe they can get something out of Bonzi.

Philadelphia gets really screwed in that trade, and Minnesota makes out like a bandit.

Not totally, if they land Foye. But why would they take Rafer and a low pick instead of Mike James?

Didn't Elton Brand get traded for Tyson Chandler? What did Atlanta get for Rasheed Wallace? What did Orlando get for Francis? Deals like this happen all of the time.

Because Rafer is younger with a smaller contract. A rebuilding team would rather have him and a pick than Mike.

LOL, nice try. James is much more valuable and could be moved for a better pick and expiring contract.

Maybe so. But if you were Philly, would you want to trade one disgruntled PG for another? Because you know Mike would show up angry. Suddenly, you're in yet another situation where you have to deal a guy and everyone knows it, so all you get is #$%* offers. If a lot of contenders had expiring contracts to offer, AI would've been already gone by now.

Probably for Nene. That is a big time coup for them.

And I thought they were stupid for giving him that hefty contract ... see, it was part of their evil plan.

Dang. The West gains yet another superpower.

There's a pretty knowledgable guy on the Nugs board I post on. He was the one who announced the Nene deal and JR Smith deals before they happened (and I passed them on here). Unfortunately, a local radio hack found out about him and was making our source's job a lot harder so he's gone stealth. Don't have anything official of what it is, but judging by the clues he's given us the Nugs are getting a no brainer deal that is going to cause every other team's fans to say "How could we not top that?"

If it involves K-mart, Philly fans should riot in the streets.

Iverson to the Nuggets? Man thats gonna be a bad trade for philly. Anyway would be interesting to see anthony and iverson on one team. Also another all star player will be in the West. They gots to make a west against the west team during allstar weekend.

I realize I'm being really jackass-ish about this, but the source has been having to deal with a lot of media crap lately because of a local radio hack here in Denver. Basically, he shared the info to a small group of us, and he's really worried about his identity getting out now, so we're sworn to secrecy. If this doesn't go through, I am more than happy to eat all the crow that I deserve, but I promise that I'm not doing this just to mess with your chains a little.
