I think having AB out for a couple weeks can let RA see how the perimeter D of Lowry makes a difference. Then, when AB gets back, he goes to the bench as a offensive sparkplug on the second unit a la the microwave.

Notwithstanding the blown FTs by Lee, I thought Scola's play at the end of the game also was costly. He got caught in no man's land by rotating away from Tim Duncan because someone was open on the perimeter after the Spurs got penetration. He should've stayed glued to TD underneath the basket rather than taking 2 steps out toward the jumpshooter who he had no chance of getting to anyway.

But really, we are just two boneheaded plays by Lee from having a 2-3 record. So just relax. Hopefully Lee settles down a bit.

Also, where are all those people out there who wanted to extend AB right now??? AB's injury is only temporary so that's not the point. His defense automatically makes him worth far less than what people would assume just from his offensive output.

LOL. So the Rockets don't even discuss an extension with him, he's not himself as a result and isn't playing like himself, and you use that to support your opinion that he didn't deserve an extension? That's hilarious.

JVG gave the team an identity they kept during Adelman's first year. Adelman owed JVG a little, he subtly acknowledged as much...

So what happened in the 2nd year, when the Rockets finally won a playoff series and 6 of the major rotation guys never played for JVG?

Riiight, so your argument is that if only the Rockets had extended him at his going rate in the summer of 8mil per year, AB wouldn't be letting people light him up on defense? Nevermind his history of not being able to defend...

    Hilarious indeed.

    1. stock a team with guys who can't play defense (brooks, martin, scola, bud, miller)

    2. give the worst defenders the most playing time.

    3. complain about lack of defense.
