The best coaches that I have seen succeed in the playoffs are the ones who can pluck a player from the bench and surprise the opponent. That can be the advantage needed to steal a game in a tough series and win a series. Covington I think should be on the playoff rotation, I just got a feeling he is the guy to fill that role.

Lol you mean the ship that keeps sinking and floating

Daniels and Covington would give us way more than Casspi or Hamilton is. I'll also think about using Covington to replace DMo. The playoffs is all about the small ball lineups and if we're going against a small ball lineup then TJones or DMo does not have any business in the game.

This would've been the perfect game to play Daniels and Covington.

They needed some good energy. Good Lawd what an awful game that was

Garcia and Casspi are useless, would rather see Daniels/Covington/Hamilton/DMo get their minutes

They definitely should have given "Downtown" Daniels a shot tonight. What else could have gone wrong?

I knew it! Beverley is back. This is truly great news. I would have liked for Daniels to stick around but we don't have the minutes.

Huh? Where did I mention cutting Lin?

Harden played some PG. Regardless Beverley should and will take the starting PG position back from Lin so yes we need to cut Lin's minutes in the rotation.

I was about to answer your question, but then you answered it yourself with the second paragraph.. Though, just for the record, I wouldn't be against cutting Lin either.

Definitely. Covington and Daniels are offensive injections that will be valuable during the playoffs. Especially when no one knows who they are. True secret weapons. I'd trust them shooting jumpers all day than I would, Casspi or Hamiliton, pack the teams lunch.
