What a great thread. Asik is obviously better than Howard. I mean did you see him out there? So impactful. He imposed his will every moment. Do you see how much better the offense is with him? Come playoff time we'll just outscore everybody with our fast pace because we don't have that slow scrub Howard. Basketball is best without half-court offense.
Actually Asik has been playing pretty well. The problem is, Asik doesn't have Asik to back him up. Offense is fine without Howard. It's defense that has gone south.
The rockets need one of them in the rotation. If you'll remember, the rockets average margin of victory was something crazy like 30pts when Howard went out. When Beverly left we've been relegated to crap. Also, why not switch to the zone yesterday? Brewer had a layup drill the entire time.
