    did each grammy kid download 6000 songs a piece or 6000 combined?

    I dont even KNOW 6000 songs.
    There are 10080 minutes in a week. A person would have to download a different song every 1.68 minutes at that rate. Thats IMPOSSIBLE unless.

    Yeah I was eating dinner with that guy on in the backround wondering if this is all a planned thing? I could hear some people booing him though.
    Rather odd that people as well as musicians with other views would have to be forced to listen to his public service announcment...in the middle of the freakin Grammys!
    Are speeches like this in the middle of the Grammys gonna make any difference? doubt it...

    BTW, did you see the look on those kids faces, the ones that were downloading all the stuff for them?
    Looked like they weren;t too anxious to have their faces shown on National TV! Just an observation of mine...:)

    The funny thing is that when the music industry switched from records to CD's the cost actually went UP, when reproduction and packaging costs actually went down.

    CD's cost less then 20 cents to manufacture and they are still charging 15 bucks for them.

    These guys are the biggest hypicrits on the planet.

    Speaking of bad performances, Bob Dylan was horrible. He sounded like Cartman and that mumbling guy from Water Boy. How anyone thinks that this dude has any talent is beyond me. We kept laughing the whole time.

    If you are watching/listening to Dylan to hear a great singer, you are missing the point completely. Dylan couldn't sing in the 1960s, and 40 years (at two packs of Marlboros a day) later, his voice is even worse. The fact is that Bob Dylan is one of the greatest songwriters in the history of music, and by the way, he has more talent in his pinky than you and I have in our whole bodies combined. With Dylan, you listen for the song, not the singer.

    I know someone who worked the Dylan concert in Austin. Said you can't look Dylan in the eyes or he gets pissed.

    Ok, I can understand if someone is a great songwriter but did you listen to that crap that he spewed last night? The song was awful and even if it wasn't, he slaughtered it. You couldnt understand a damn word he said. There are a lot of great songwriters but if they cant sing then defer to someone better. Santana is a great song writer/guitarists. Do you see him trying to sing when he cannot?
