To add to that, in this city for what 5 or 6 years, there is no reason to center your team around a coach who can't get it done. At this rate hardly any young players will develop to be future stars in this city.

Just think if Monta Ellis were here. He'd have been in the same boat as Luther minus the devestating team injuries. Hardly doubt he'd be as good as he is.

This coach has done nothing yet gets the respect he hasn't earned. The same thing he blows young players off for.

That is true. The same goes for others such as Millsap or even Matt barnes. Anyway, at the start of the season, many fans were excited at the prospects of having a deep bench and seeing this work to our advantage. now our bench players are turning into power dancers, their duties are more confined to cheering and clapping for their teammates. I wonder if Les Alexander is happy seeing all those dollars being paid to quality bench players who are not being utilized . Those are very expensive cheer leaders.

 

I think he's referring to the fickle posters in this forum who think the sky is falling and we should start Vspan ,fire JVG, or throw in the towell hoping for a lottery pick, every single time we lose a game. This forum has lost all appeal.

 

Coach of the year?

I highly doubt that. As for Phil jackson cmoparisons, just stop it. Phil has 9 rings. What does assistant coach have besides grudges with players?

 

Even I dislike PJ very much, but compare JVG to PJ? Not even close. Right now, AJ is the best. The NBA needs new blood to be great.

 

Yea Monta Ellis is playing well. He is also on a team that sucks and wont make the playoffs. It is much easier to score and build your stats up on a team that is terrible and doesnt play defense.

Last time I checked Luther Head and Chuck Hayes play major minutes on this team, and are in their second years. I would think that second year players would classify as young players. I also think considering the only coach they have played for is JVG, he has something to do with their improvement so far. Of course if they were playing for another coach, I am sure Head would have developed into the second coming of Kobe, and Hayes a smaller version of Elton Brand.

Even Yao is a fairly young player who has played the majority of his career under JVG. Of course despite being the best big man in the game, JVG has prevented him from becoming a superstar according to your theory.

Its is funny how we only lose because of JVG, and only win despite him.

 

If you've had enough, then quit being a rockets fan, and quit posting on this board so we don't have to listen to this rediculousness.
