i just dont understand van gundy, he doesnt trust young players so wtf, why practice then?? he doesnt play snyder...his offense blows, JVG obviously needs a big man to save his life in his coachin, if he had the pheonix job they would blow donkey balls...times up for him, NEXT
It's too soon to say that.. its not all jvg's fault, hes not the one on the floor playing.. its the rockets..and their defense isnt lighting up! i have no idea why!!
Couldn't have predicted this thread. I am going to pledge to never come into this forum after a loss. WE DIDN'T PLAY D. WE LOST. PERIOD. IT WAS THE PLAYER'S FAULT
He has tired out the veteran players without developing his bench and this will continue because JVG likes it that way.
Plus there was nothing we could have done. They were just hitting their shots. Our defense wasn't the best. We couldn't make a run when we had it down to 9. Juwan and Deke looked terrible - but that's okay. At their age - they are allowed to have some off games. Why didn't we go to Bonzi more? I for one - just can't wait till Yao returns.
just said this in another thread. the lakers have a worse record than we do because Kobe has no help right now with Odom having been injured and others. I guess since teams double and triple Kobe and they lose, Phil is a bad coach.
I remembered i read something about JVG saying Rookies makes mistakes, mistakes loses games, losing games costs the coaches job.
/rolls up sleeves I guess it's time to fight stupidity with stupidity. IT'S PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME!!!!! <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/areyUfCNFxY"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/areyUfCNFxY" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
phil has 9 rings man, how many does JVG have? everyone even my grandma knowns phil is a good coach, but if u ask anyone about JVG, youll get possibly all negative feedback, dude is old school, needs to get over the love he has for 30 year olds and sign athletic, fast guys (guys who can create on their own).
Urge to kill rising. The Great Phil Jackson is 4-6 in his last 10 games. Should the Lakers fire him? All teams go through slumps. Accept this and move on. And this whole "negative feedback" for JVG thing: You must not be speaking about the players, because they have nothing but nice things to say. And I guess you're not referring to the media, as JVG is Coach of the Year to most analysts. So, whom are you referencing? Charlie freaking Rosen?
WHERE THE HELL IS KIRK SNYDER!!!!!!!!!!!! IM TRIED OF NO LOOK LUTHER HEAD PASSES CROSS COURT INTO THE STANDS. HE'S GOOD FOR NOTHING OTHER THAN SPOT UP THREES. KRIK CAN TAKE IT TO THE HOLE AND PLAY MUCH BETTER DEFENSE
I'm not trying to say he is even in the same league as Phil...I'm just comparing our roster situation to LA this year. We've done well with our lineup. I'm sorry, but I just don't think that throwing Vspan out there is gonna make us better at this point. With T-Mac and Yao out there and a loss like this (and ATL and Boston), then yeah...blame him. He's not an elite coach, but he's done okay with what we had to work with, considering injuries and bad contracts
AND TOYOTA CENTER IS STILL QUIET OTHER THAN THE ROWDY'S....our fans are singing too much peanut butter jelly and patty cake in the stands
Wow was this thread predictable. 2 game losing streak. Fire the coach. [Random bench player cut by previous team] would have won the game. Blah blah blah.
