We knew the rockets magical run without yao was going to run out of gas sometime. now its just running on vapors it seems and the tank is running out. cut the bull**** negativity and fire jvg and crap. it comes down to the fact that the players are just running out of steam performing at 110% EVERY NIGHT! if the rockets can hold at 12-13 games above .500 like they are now until yao comes back for 2-3 wks, then i think we'll be okay.

yeah, we have overachieved, washed up players like Juwan and Deke were playing out of their minds, fooled the front office into thinking they actually had something left.
Fans are b****ing because they are concerned. We all "hope" this isn't a trend but to loose to the teams we have, the way we have, we probably aren't quite the team we had hoped we were.
not true. been a fan for 26 years,..but jvg ball has me converting to a texans fan finally. Atleast the texans are improving. The rockets are content with having tmac/yao and will stick with that for years , but its not enough and they either are to incompetent to draft the right fill in players or to cheap to get another star. marion/nash/amare > tmac/yao better get on the ball if you want to compete with the elite. When CD didnt make a trade cuz he didnt want to mess with the chemistry I knew we were in trouble. You always try to improve , and you dont stand pat unless you are the suns or mavs.
JVG has done a great job this year and if these last few games have changed your mind, then you're about as fair weather as they come.

I don't think it's that they are running on vapors. It's more like. They are being lazy and not playing defense(opponents are scoring 100+), now that they know Yao will be back in less than 2 weeks.
JVG has done a great job of tiring his veteran players. He just is saving his a@#. He needed to find a better way of spelling his veteran players so that they would not hit the wall knowing full well that Yao would be out for an extended amount of time. He could've developed his bench in the process. I am not a fair weathered fan and you JVG has a way to suck the air out of a team just to have it his way.
