[I've grown to love draft day]Your last minute, all three pick... predictions

If we trade to #13, I believe the target will be Garuba.

 

What a newb. That would never happen. This is more believable:

23) Mobley
24) Cade

 

Doubt there will be a trade as it’s just too hard to do and NY has better picks and also gunning for 13.

Feel like these are the highest upside guys.

 

I dont have my staying put option settled but I definitely agree 100% I want to trade up for kai or alperen. I'd lose wood in a package to do it b/c I just don't think he fits our timeline and wants max money soon while we'll still suck

 

He doesn't fall past SA at 12 imo. Maybe even Memphis. Hate to see him on a division rival

I'd trade Wood to Charlotte for #11 and a $13.7 TPE.

With Washington as the backup 4/5....that's a pretty solid team if they can stay healthy.

 

If we can come away with THE premier scorer and a high ceiling front court player to grow along with the current nucleus it would be a coup. IF we lose our 20s picks so be it, but then I'd like Stone to buy some 2nd rounders because I see some huge value there.

I’d be happy with Green, but pretty underwhelmed, overall. I just don’t think they are going to use all of the picks as they are, and I’m not confident that they will get a trade-up done.

I could see Sengun going wayyy earlier than expected. Wish we had a shot at him, don't think we do.

 

I did not like Garuba at first, because he is to short and cannot shoot. I see that his shooting is getting better and he remind me of a young Rodman. He is strong, quick and physical. He could play SF and sometimes PF for us and his offense could be just hustle plays, rebounds and pick and roll plays. However, he would be a GEM on defense.

24: Garuba(he has a crazy contract...expensive buyout)

 

Sengun and Williams are going to go higher than the commercial publications are claiming. Both have very high upside and talent. Williams will get a pass because of the unusual circumstances surrounding his freshman year and deaths in the family. Sengun is NOT the plodder that he is being made out to be. He isn't Mobley out there, but he isn't some Eastern European center from the 1970's either.

I think someone will over reach on Kai Jones and JT Thor may go fairly high because of his age, lack of experience playing basketball and his measurables.

If Keon Johnson is there at 22-23, the Rockets may take him... his vertical is somewhat over rated, but even so he is an elite athlete with a limited skill set but high upside.

 

Honestly any two of:

Cade, Green Mobley, Kai Jones, Jalen Johnson, Alberen Sengun, Trey Murphy would be a huge win. (with Sims or Todd in the 2nd)

The Rockets need to trade one of their late picks. They will argue about who was drafted higher forever. And that will hurt team chemistry. And the Rockets wanna win a lot. So trade late pick please.
