It's difficult to categorize Ariza as a decent spot up 3pt shooter. His percentages this year even on unguarded shots are very low (as in career lows) except from the left corner. But even if you go back only one year did he really light it up. He should be benched and lightly played until his defense begins to re-emerge as that is historically his strength.
dont **** with ariza, he's about dat life <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr"><a href="https://twitter.com/TerryLee__">@TerryLee__</a> pull up then</p>— trevorariza (@TrevorAriza) <a href="https://twitter.com/TrevorAriza/status/671533209772011520">December 1, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
ariza is no longer a starter in this league, he is hurting the furst unit. His shot takes 3 seconds to get off, and he cant dribble. His defense has also regressed dekker is getting screwed, ariza starting is gonna cost us in the playoffs
dumb ass mofos. he plays superstar minutes and you guys expect him to not be affected by it? ask any role player to play superstar mniutes and their overall game will suffer. if you add from somewhere, you have to SUBTRACT FROM SOMEWHERE TOO! you cannot add from somewhere, and not subtract from somewhere. something has to give. its called common sense!
look at this guy, 2nd most minutes played on the team at the end of the 3rd. its a fact of life that in a past life, some of you guys were slave owners, and wondered why your slaves died on the field hwen you kept whipping their backs. you beat them up and expect them to work harder? they're physically incapable!
excuses excuses? he's top 10 in minutes played for the 3rd straight year. 1st or 2nd year he was top 3 or 5. there's no need for your ignorance on this topic.
How long have you been watching basketball, son? Watch Ariza on the defensive end; he'll switch and help on time, he gets hands on passes, etc. The guy gets a ton of the rotation minutes because this team needs him out there. I love Dekker but there are a few things that vets do that don't show up except to someone who pays attention. When he has more rest, the man shoots better. Simple as that.
my objective view @ ariza: good on D intangibles like rebs, steals relatively cheap still cringe whenever he takes a shot, make or miss (disappointed less than brewer) avg passer below avg scorer calm and cool headed (very rare for T/flagrant) still a solid player given the fact he replaced parsons who signed the max (rofl) I dont mind him in summary.
