Slap Vanna White on the butt like a football player and say "Nice play!"

    Congrats!

Say to Vanna White: "do you want a ride ride?" ;)

Before you spin the wheel for the very first time... be sure to look into the camera and say "it's on me."

It you hit "bankrupt" make sure to sarcastically blame everything on yourself. Or you can throw your fellow contestants under the bus.

In addition you can even say you wanted to play for Jeopardy/Price is Right if things continue to not go your way.

    Well Congrats, DD.

Oops, it's not DD bragging about being on a trip to some other country, it's just thelasik.

CONGRATULATIONS, sir! Make that Lasik work! See the wheel spin!

    FIXED.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Xerobull again.

hopefully thelasik doesnt get mad for me saying this but during the trials he said he bought a vowel that was already chosen. :)

He needs to go out and dominate the field so America knows not to mess with CF.net

lol no hard feelings. it was pretty funny, i was ready to drop some f-bombs when it happened but i played it off. the final round of the audition was very intense. some of the people were yelling out letters before even spinning the wheel. thankfully i wasn't that bad...

    nice, much congrats.

Im not gonna ask for a CF shoutout...we got enough people here already. :p

and I second the thought that the best part of going to LA has got to be hanging with The YoYo....unless you get to see a Vanna White wardrobe malfunction.

Congrats BIG TIME thelasik!!!!! Keep us posted on the air date. My wife worked with a guy in the 80's that was on wof. He couldn't say anything about the show or get his winnings until the show aired. It was hilarious. He kept calling T's & there were no T's in the puzzles. This other lady rang up about 23k until the final round. He spun, hit 5k & called a T. There were 4 of them. He also won a car that round. He told my wife that the other lady was in tears by the end of the round. In the bonus round, he won another car. I can't remember how long after the taping the show aired, but he got the next years model cars(he had to sell 1 to pay the taxes)

Any good luck & let us know the air date so we can tape it for posperity.

lol i remember my old 5th grade teacher telling me that she made it on the show and came away with a dinette table. it's like everyone that gets to come on the show automatically gets table and a toaster.

so when you gonna be on the show and when you think it might air? i like to tune in if a rockets game isn't on that is. i haven't watched the show in years.

You used to have to spend the money you won each round in a room on retail priced items (game show advertising). You had to keep spending until you couldn't buy anything you haven't already bought which put a lot of stuff in your cart that you may not have wanted. The ceramic Dalmatian was the cheapest item that almost everyone walked away with because as you get down to the end of your cash from your spending spree, it was the only thing left you could afford. At first, people had to reluctantly select it at the end of their spree, but later it became such a WOF icon that I've seen people select it first to make sure they got it (and didn't end up too short at the end to get it).

Ask if you can still get the ceramic Dalmatian as a memento.
