It was gorgeous today. I built a picket fence in front of my house. Things I experienced while doing it: I had an asian man ask me for an old pair of shoes. A latin american woman who spoke no English offer to tell my fortune with a deck of cards (I think). A crazy drunk lady scream that I was doing a great job. Some guy on a bike told me it was a great day to be alive. Mosquitos WERE alive and biting me until I dug out some Off. Good day all in all.
woke up had sex tossed the frisbee around for while cleaned the ride while jamming out to some neil young and ryan adams went looking for new townhomes/condos in the heights and montrose/upper kirby area had a few cold cans on the patio at onion creek with some friends had me a burger at becks prime on kirby watched the rockets win their 12th in a row if it wasn't for this bug i've been trying to stave off for 2 days i'd say all in all it's been a good weekend.
I agree, but summer is only 1/4 of the year, so 75% of the time it is better to be in Phoenix than Houston, as far as weather is concerned. Plus no humidity and no mosquitoes > humidity & mosquitoes any time of the year.
Houston had some beautiful weather this weekend...It was a little hot Sunday, but not unbearable...It reminded me of Dallas weather...Although, I wore shorts and a T on the plane but when I got back into Dallas, it was cold...
Math exam today (Monday) and an interview for a project earlier today. Need to turn in a 1000-word essay with my CIA in the 3rd World exam. And need to study for that exam, so I've got about 300 pages to read by Thursday. In a week, I have my project for a broadcast journalism class due. And a week from tomorrow (Tuesday)? Two exams. One is in Vikings; one is in Crusades. I still have about 500ish pages to read for them. Plus, I need to turn in a prospectus (outline and partial bibliography) for term papers for each class with my midterm. The term papers need to be 15 and 25 pages; that means the few precious moments I won't be spending either reading, asleep, or watching the Rockets will be spent in the library. Someone go outside for me. I won't be seeing it for the next week.
