I think the OP's suggestion is pretty good and would seem possible. How long would Bogut and SJax be on the books for?

 

I never said Les is dictating his every move, I said his hands are tied because his instructions are to win whiles tanking. I already conceded that Morey is not without flaws, but you on the other hand is proposing that Morey shouldn't do what Les wants him to do, yeah that's pretty stupid.

It's still too early. Too many teams are very close together in wins and losses. Without the losing streak, the Rockets are one of the top teams. There is still time to make moves to improve our chances.
As i have mentioned before, a simple Kaman aquisition would greatly improve the size on the team, while at the same time giving us a double-double averaging big man. At this point, i would be willing to give Martin as the main man in the package deal. Kaman/Dally would make a formidable big man combo.

 

Yeah, maybe they had that exact conversation and Morey's got to deal with what he's been dealt. In my mind, that does not absolve him one iota from the blame of not winning. If he thought it couldn't be done, he should quit. If he thought it could be done, he was either wrong or he failed -- so far -- same as Les.

Wait what's this people are realizing that this (strike shortened) season is a waste of time and a high draft pick (in a strong draft) is preferable to mediocrity?!

 

Coach, this team team is Eff'ed up beyond anything Kaman can bring to the team.
We need a new era, a clean slate IMO we acumulated a pile of trash that needs to get trown out.
I hope we some how can end up with Okafor and that 1st round pick, even if its the only move we make. Okafor can always be moved some how.

People want to turn the ship around and start the voyage over again, even if we have to backtrack.
