    Some good advice that works for me:

    get comfortable with Cam Whittmore, and Taylor Hendricks. Believe we are picking 5th or 6th and assume those are the worst case picks. Then …either be pleasantly surprised by the lotto results or relieved to have the damn thing over with, and you’re not disappointed because we are getting a solid player.

    My draft conspiracy involves the Mavs. For SOME reason, they parked Luka on the bench in a game that could've clinched a play-in game for them. So no shot at the playoffs, but a mathematical shot at Victor. Sure, it's a longshot, but more likely than them winning the title this year.

    Conspiracy theorist question: What does Cuban know, and when did he know it?

    (Yes, I'm being facetious. Sort of.)

    He knows that if they make the playoffs, then they lose the #10 pick, which they hope to use to trade for another impact player to convince Luka to stay. Without that pick, they have no way to get better and would likely lose Luka. For them, It has less to do with a chance of winning the lottery than it does about simply holding onto that pick. There will be lots of fun things to watch for in this lottery.
