Lowry is just a young kevin martin at best..who will attract to join him. Desperate fans want to put him in the all star category because the rockets basically have no one else.

short list? let's check all the other 14 western teams.

    San Antonio Better
    Dallas Better
    Memphis Better
    New Orleans
    Oklahoma City Better
    Portland Better
    Denver Better
    Utah Better
    Minnesota
    Lakers Better
    Clippers Better
    Phoenix
    Sacramento
    Golden State

Those are 9 teams already in the western that their GMs are doing better job. I would think Minnesota is doing better job, that is 10 teams, although many may not agree on this one.

So you honestly believe the Clippers, Warriors, Suns, Jazz, T Wolves, Hornets, Grizzlies, and Trailblazers have better management? This is quite disturbing.

Name an actual GM candidate that is available and better than our GM. I can't wait for this response.

I like how he thinks 3 teams that have never done anything in their entire history have better GMs than us.

Each one of those teams have made better roster moves than us (with less transactions). I'm not sure how you'd think the Rockets are better than any of those teams:confused:

You really think the Rockets are worse than all those teams? Only the Clippers, Blazers, and Grizzlies (with Z-Bo) are definitely ahead of them.

Looking at our roster compared to just about ANY team in the NBA, I just dont see how you guys can say he's doing a great job. He let Chuck walk. He almost traded are two best players for the corpse of Pau Gasol. He aggressivley went after Nene, but Nene was BADLY outplayed by Carl Landry (a former Rocket) a few nights ago. Which is ironic, because Landry could be potentially just as good as Nene in my opinion (which would make aquiring Nene worthless had we kept Landry). It's like Morey has no direction with this team

Morey drafted Landry and parlayed him and the corpse of Tracy McGrady into Kevin Martin + draft picks. That was the work of a smart GM and front office staff.

He also acquired Scola for Spanoulis. Another good deal.

If you want to fault him for trying to trade Scola+Martin for Gasol (a good trade IMO, but agree to disagree), then credit him for acquiring those players with smart maneuvering in the first place.

We're talking about management. Tell me how those teams are run better than Morey runs the Rockets.

"Hey lets trade our stud center to the Lakers for Kwame Brown and some other guy!!!"

"who's stephen curry lets draft two pg back to back, one named Flynn"

We lost a MVP caliber player for nothing in the offseason. Go look at the history of most teams the year after that happens and you will find some bad records. Factor in that Morey hasn't any high picks and it's hard to fault him.

First off, Tmac's "corpse" is still currently winning games for the Hawks. I'd say his talent level & basketball IQ give him more value than a corpse.

Secondly, he drafted Landry but also foolishly traded him too. As much as I like Kmart, Landry should still be a Rocket. We had a great core at one point (Brooks, Lowry, Landry, Chuck & Wafer). Hell, we'd truly be light years better than where we are now had Morey kept our core together. Outside of getting Scola, most of his moves are lateral moves which keep us competitive but dont make us better. You actually think we're a better team than last year? You dont think we should've kept Adelman? And what was the point of aquiring Johnny Flynn again?

Our you can decide NOT to trade you're young core and keep players around instead of flipping them for more assets. How exactly is Utah in a better position than we are again:confused:

Wow! All I have to say is wow! Wake up folks this the first season we've had with no expectations of a guy named yao ming in the picture. Morey has done his best to rebuild this team the last off season and it would have been ok if it weren't for stern. It sucks that the yao McGrady combo didn't work out. it was a good run and it is too bad injuries hit our stars before morey stepped in. Morey at least made efforts unlike teams like Orlando who are about to lose their star. Those other teams that are better than us have a star. We don't have anything to build on Martin scola Lowry would be great if we had a healthy young yao. But hey let's read that roster list..... Nope no yao. he's making lemonaide with our guys right now. Just don't get overly attached to these guys because they are all trade bait. there main concern this season is just getting a real good building block and a not to lose way too much money. the last thing the city of houston needs is for more lay offs. I don't think it is time to get rid of Morey just yet. Let's see if he can get us that building block. If we are stuck in mediocrity with no hope of the future next season then it is time to part ways. We have an expert tanker in McHale.let's see where it takes us in June.
