Rafer must be a MVP during practice cos there is no way he is earning his minutes based on his on-court performance

i have complete faith in R.A. to make the right time to sit rafer's ass on the bench and play steve. i wish it was now but i'm not the coach. nothing we can do anything about it, and i dont' want to debate with all the francis haters. i'm just gonna wait patiently.

    Definitely right!
    At least we should try.
Even if only considering the preseason games, in limited playing time, Steve was not that bad that could bench him forever. I don't know what happened between him and coach RA. It's just getting rediculous. In my opinion, Rafer has shown enough why he is not a legitimate playoff PG so far. So we have to find some other PG before the real test comes, and we happened to have one on our bench!

I don't think we see much of Francis until the Luther showcase is over and we give Head to someone in exchange for a low 1st rounder.

As much as I want Stevie Franchise to play, we have been winning even with the sub par play of our point guards. I don't think we'll see any rotation shuffles unless we start losing a lot of games or injuries come into play. I just don't see RA changing it up when we've only lost one game so far. But still though, I think Francis could take Head's minutes and I don't think that change would effect us negatively.

I saw T-Mac take the PG role after Alston quickshoot a brick from the 3 point line. Alston didn't even let his team get into position and he just let it fly...clunk!

I don't know what happened between SF3 and Coach A, but I do know Steve is a great player, it's just a huge waste to put him on bench.

i agree, just because someone is smarter or knows more, doesnt mean they can't make mistakes. no one is in falliable. under jvg see rod strickland, charles oakley, not allowing yao train with hakeem...etc. maybe houston fans know more than adelman, since we've seen stevie play for 5 seasons ;)

there is a reason teams leave rafer wide open. we all know stevie can finish, and no one can question his heart.

LOL It'd either be Francis going out or...

Rafer and a Bag of Chips. You'd have to package him with someone else.

i am thinking the same way. luther is lost out there and rafer does not make his shots. James is good if he has it going but why play those guys all the time if you have a steve on the bench ?

    can't understand Adleman.

If Morey is that ticked off about Francis sitting, he can fix it. He is after all sitting in the front office in charge of player personnel ;)

Rockets are Guard Heavy at the moment. We could always use a few more front court players.

I dont think we can trust anyone breaking anything down if he compares Aaron Brooks to Gilbert Arenas and says Steve Francis will post up other big name point guards.

Brooks is a tiny PG who has never played a minute in the NBA. Arenas is probably the top scoring PG in the NBA and an All star.

Francis almost never posts anybody up. His game has always been having the ball in his hands and driving to the basket. Plus, if he has this "former All star" mentality and thinks all these new PGs are beneath him, why has he been terrible for a couple years now.

Im not saying Steve shouldnt play. But for everyone who thinks we are in crisis, stop and look at our record. If we were 1-5, then hell yes, play Stevie. But right now we are 5-1 and if it aint broke dont fix it.

Head and Rafer were so bad so far, SF3 must be very bad to not be on the floor. Who knows?

It's not "coach knows best," it's "coach generally knows better than random internet poster."

If you want to convincingly argue that the coach (or the GM, for that matter) is wrong, you are going to do better than the typical backseat driver internet critics here. All they bring are "XXXX sucks balls!" one-line posts and citations to fantasy stats and anecdotes of so and so made a mistake at one time in the game. Read a Daryl Morey interview, see the kind of detail he and the Rockets staff pays to player analysis. Hell, read a post by durvasa. If you can't bring that level of meaningful analysis, or close to it, don't be surprised if the rest of us are not convinced.
