There really must be something wrong with either Steve, or his relationship with RA... I mean I understand Rafer and James getting the majority of minutes, but Steve doesn`t even get garbage minutes when 3 other guards are cold and turning the ball over.

Even if he can`t help us now, wouldn`t it be nice to at least get him slowly in sync with the rest of the team and on the court again? Talant wise he is probably our 3d best player, and also he has lost some of his game, he should still have the talent to turn a game around when the others are cold. He did so in his last days in New York... So why not trying to get him back in the line up? Either Steve is really out of condition, hardly practising at all or he is having serious issues with RA.

I`d like to see him get at least some minutes in one of the next games. Play him as a shooting guard, desing 1 or 2 plays for him, and have him setting screens and rebound the rest of the time. Just get him in game shape again!

I don't think that Steve is going to see much court time, unless someone gets injured. Adleman likes to keep the ball moving, lots of passing, players without the ball moving to keep the defense working. What's Steve's game? Either slash to the basket, or stand on the three point line and dribble for 20 seconds. Not a good fit.

This is obviously some sort of grudge RA has against steve... it just makes no sense to me why everyone has gotten a chance except steve no metter how bad they play.

And for the francis haters just remember that him and yao have produced an 50 win team and have taken us just as far as t-mac has. It's just ridiculous that he doesnt even get 1 second of playing time to prove himself (remember, this is the regular season, not a do or die game). I mean, I would understand if steve went out there a few times and played like "rafer", but like i said before RA has an obvious hate towards steve, and if he doesn't play anytime soon i hope morey has a nice long chat with the coach.

..and Snyder? One of the issues management had with JVG was the playing time he gave to Kirk, ie not enough. Morey even talked up Snyder's abilities after JVG's dismissal. Now under Adelman he's getting zip.

What about those frequent times our jump shooters can't hit the broad side of a barn...those are the times we are in a scoring drought...We need someone to SLASH, maybe with some flare, or just plain DUNK on someone to pump up the team. Nothing pumps up a crowd and team more than a 6'3 foot PG dunking over a 7ft center! And yes steve is still capable of it. Hes done it numerous of times at orlando and a few times in NY.

Great point. On nights when you're not shooting well, you do need somebody to drive it in and create for either himself or others or even draw a foul and get some easy points from the free throw line to help the team. Rafer can't do that at all and MJ isn't much better than Skip when it comes to that either. This is where Steve can really contribute.

    you people are crazy

The team is 5 and 1

You don't just pull your key players when they have an off night you let them try to work it out

the coach is going 9 deep as it is

if the coach thought Steve could help, Steve would be in the game

He's out of shape and isn't ready to help the team

I hope he gets his act together in case someone gets hurt

until then I hope we keep winning.

You people flaunting our record forget that it was pretty damn good last year as well.

But when it comes to the playoffs our pg play absolutely destroyed us. Francis will get his chance very soon.

we are 5-1 and look great, if alston and james have bad games you dont replace them with francis.. HOWEVER if Head continues to suck it up I do think Francis should replace him and take his 8-15 mins of game time.. However not now, if Head continues to suck throughout this month.

?? for one we had a great season even with injuries.. for two we weren't "Destroyed", we only had 1 pg and we took a team that went to the WCF's to 7 games with that 1 pg. Boozer is the one who destroyed us anyways and it wasn't to hard to get him the ball since he was always positioned at the high post.. Now add Mike James to the mix and I see it as an upgrade. Francis has a shot to get Heads minutes if Head sucks it up but Heads not a pg, he might play a minutes or two as one but dam theres times even battier and bonzi take the ball up court.

btw my bad on back to back posts

I hope Steve gets into the game soon. It would be a waste of his talent to sit him on the bench.

Another couple of these 2 for 10 nights from Rafer and Steve might get into the rotation.

However, the Rockets should win the next 2, even on the road so unless Rafer drops a bomb and directly cause the Rockets to lose the next 2, Steve isn't getting of the bench.

This is a rotation issue and he's not part of it. See Juan Howard last season. Not saying Juan was good but he did well when we needed front court help when Yao went down last season. Him and Deke held down the fort. Deke blocking and Juan with the line drive jumper.

If Rafer or James gets hurt, then Steve will have his chance, or if Rafer stinks up the next few games.

Heads problem is he cant make a post pass to Yao to save his life, it ends up as an turnover 90% of the time, and MJ ends up in a turnover 45% of the time...they cant pass into the post to save they life, I rather have steve replace Head cuz he can atleast drive and create...
