Is it just me or can't the haters just drop it and move on? We want Steve regardless of the negative crap you have to say...

Tmac's a swingman, Francis is a PG. If anything it means Kirk will get some minutes...

Why should that be the basis... that is 'you' seeing Steve play worse? I trust Adelman's assessment. The man has certainly proven his worth as a coach and deserves respect. He should feel no compulsion to throw someone on the court who showed up to camp fat until he's 100% ready to do so.

-- That's true but the way the alston and james are playing I think it is time to atleast give him a few of there minutes. He doesnt necessarily have to play 20 minutes, but just gettin him out on the court now will I think be better for the team rather then later.

Why, you have insight into whether he's back in shape yet? That he's successfully assimilating the offense?

(...and just hit the 'Reply' above right to the post you want to reply to)

Steve is much worse than H2&A12?He even can't play the game in the rotation? It's widely thought to many Rocket fans that SF3 is the son of Houston,we like him though he has a little selfish characteristic. When he saw the game with loneliness,Adelman maybe not have such bad feeling!!

Use the reply button so they are quoted, or you could just use their name in the body of your post.

T-Mac injured,Alston performs just less than 20 shot percentage(5 3-point throw,no one successful tonight). It' no reason to let Steve suffer on the bench, otherwise Adelman is SF3's creditor.

With TMac out and a BRUTAL schedule ahead (November has been TOUGH!!), there is no reason Stevie shouldnt be out there.

You make a good point but you also have to consider just what Francis brings to the table and running a structured offense like Adelman's isn't exactly one of his "strengths". I know folks around choose to believe differently but to me, he still thinks of himself as The Franchise and all that entails. I'm just amused at all of this sudden "love" for the guy when 4 years ago it was a MUCH different atmosphere around here. I'm also fascinated at how people here constantly get enamored with the guys sitting at the end of the bench. Last year it was Spanoulis - this year it's Brooks & SF3.

Van Gundy sure didn't help the Francis situation by reminding the world of the time when Steve missed a team flight during Super Bowl weekend in Houston. I thought Van Gundy announced the game respectfully considering his ugly departure from the team after last season but the comment about Francis was in bad judgment.

It's time for the Franchise!!!! I'm sick and tired of the same bricking of Rafer over and over and over again!!! I think it's time for some excitement and passion in the game which steve francis brings. At least give the guy a chance to at least shine and show what he has. If someone sucks for a long while it doesn't hurt to try something new in the rotation!!! We lost to the grizzilies for crying out loud and we should be blowing out teams by double digits with the kind of weapons we have. I think it's time!!!

I'm an Alston fan and Adleman fan and its cool if he plays alston because he does a good job most of the time defensively...he does get burned easily by better faster guards like Deron williams and such but still I like his game

I am also a Franchise fan...pleeeeeeeeeeease give him some minutes at least 5 minutes a game at the point....What I didn't like last nite was when we had the ball and Alston and James were in, the crowd started chanting "we want steve"....idiots support the guys we have out there and so the can build confidence off our support and on a timeout start the chants....Why would a home crowd demoralize our own guys like that????? that spells D..U...M...B IMO

It will be very interesting to see how this place reacts when Francis finally does get some PT...... and stinks up the joint.

I keep thinking the same thing. All these people have such high expectations of what Steve can do on the court.

IF he really could do what the imagination of the "chanters" think he can, the coach would have him in the game.
