    :)

Why are we even debating this, to say luther is better than steve is like saying Andrei Iguodala is better than Michael Jordan.

Now I'm just like anybody else in being a big steve francis supporter. however, i'm a bigger houston rockets fan. now Adelman knows what he is doing. He's a great coach, and he right now is having the winning formula. Frankly, I don't care what happens to Francis now, because we are WINNING!! So let's just stick to winning.

Francis just needs to prove everybody wrong and get back into shape and shut up all the haters. until then, lets keep winning!

You act like Stevie was burning it up last year. To say Rafer and Luther were exposed in the playoffs is true, but Stevie flat our sucked the last few years. He wasnt decent, he wasnt okay, he wasnt streaky, he was flat out terrible on an awful team. He couldnt get playing time on the Knicks, and suddenly he is supposed to be given major minutes on a powerful Rockets team just because he played here a few years ago?

You talk about the playoffs "teaching these fans nothing", but what about the past not teaching you anything about Stevie. He has not won a playoff series. He has not ever shown he is a team player. He has not ever shown he can consistently hit jumpshots. He has not ever shown he consistently wins.

You complain about the defense that Luther or Rafer plays? Again, Stevie is a flat our terrible defender? He would not offer anything on the defensive end, so that doesnt solve that problem. What Steve does clearly better then these two is rebound and with the way the Rox are boarding right now, that isnt very important.

Im not saying Rafer is great. Im not saying Luther is great. Im just saying Adelman is a very good coach and he doesnt think Stevie helps this team more then either of those two guys.

I can not understand why everyone wants to mess up what is going on right. THE ROCKETS ARE 6-1!!!! We are tied with the Spurs for the best record in the NBA. I know it is early in the season and things can change really fast. But just like the old saying goes... If it's not broke... DON'T FIX IT!

We don't need Steve right now. His time will come.

Sure, throw stevie in a corner and expect to stay in shape on the bench, and when his tim comes, and he disappoints, then you want to get mad. Or even when Adelman finally calls him 40 games into the season and he declines, just like Bonzi did to JVG last year, yall would want to castrate him. And cite that he ignored the team in their time of need, well the team is ignoring him in his time of need. And francis is not a Steve Novak who you will sit at the far end of the bench and expect to call in for 15 secs per game to perform a miracle and shoot a winning 3. I'm sure if this goes on, his attitude will get worse, and Adelman will go from having a decent player to having a huge distraction, and the best part of this, is that i will support Francis all the way. I love ROCKETS, i just hate seeing layers get screwed over or walked on without being given a chance to crack the rotation in regular season.

Did Francis come into training camp in shape? No. Did the other Rockets players come into camp in shape? Yes. Should Adelman reward laziness with playing time or hard work with playing time?

It's the same people that thought Bonzi deserved playing time last year. He was not in shape, and he was not going to get the time. Get in shape and show that you're willing to work hard, and you'll get in the game. It's that simple.

You say Francis can't get into shape unless he gets in the game. Adelman says Francis won't get into the game unless he gets in shape. It's the chicken or the egg. Except with this one, Adelman's opinion holds vastly more importance than any of ours. Francis will get in when he deserves to. Right now he doesn't. Get over it. We're 6-1.

 ^^^You can only blame the Rockets for signing an out of shape Bonzi and an out of shape Francis. The Rockets are NOT an expansion team that doesn't know who/how they sign players. If they signed him, they should play him. Hope to see Francis turn it around and prove some of ya wrong just like Bonzi did alot of you guys on here. Now the majority of Rocket fans are riding Bonzi

Just because Adelman knows more than the fans, it doesn't mean that he is infallible.

    and yet he is.

maybe luther is a better fit for this team than steve-o and knows his role and place on the teams pecking order better than steve-o.
