Just to throw out some more numbers... ;)

Steve Francis's LAST 4 REGULAR SEASON GAMES

    22PTS .775%FG 7AST 2RBS 2 STL 0 BLK 2TO
    28PTS .571%FG 3AST 8RBS 0 STL 1 BLK 1 TO
    26PTS .400%FG 3AST 4RBS 1 STL 0 BLK 4 TO
    24PTS .438%FG 3AST 8RBS 1 STL 1 BLK 4 TO

Who says SF3 LOST IT!?! This was after his injury! Doesnt a PG have to be athletic to get 2 Blocks in 4 games?

Rafers LAST FOUR REGULAR SEASON GAMES

    8PTS .444%FG 6AST 3RBS 1STL 0BLK 1TO
    8PTS .375%FG 1AST 5RBS 0 STL 0BLK 0TO
    2PTS .200%FG 7AST 1RBS 0STL 0BLK 2TO
    9PTS .200%FG 2AST 5RBS 2STl 0BLK 2TO

....According to RA...this rafer is WAYYYYYYYY better than francis.

I hope that all you steve supporters won't back-off once he finally plays and commits those same turn-overs and holds on to the ball for long periods of time. Did you guys forget how low Steve's basketball IQ is?

yeah no matter how low it is, it doesn't get lower than shooting less than 30% and taking more than 10 shots.

Aaron Brooks is a shoot first pg, just like Arenas. In every team he played in, since High school, he has always been the man, the go-to-guy, who only passes when he is in trouble. So although he might not be the answer, atleast he's a better 3 point shooter than Rafer.

Francis is a big pg, both in weight :) and height, and your baron davis' and chauncey billups and derron williams will have a hard time bullying him as opposed to Rafer, who just tags along behind them pretending to be playing defense.

And to hell with that if its not broke, don't fix it. I'm all for getting better, and if you have a guard on your bench, a guard who choose your team with lesser money over others. And you still chose to bench him when the starting pg is playing horribly, then something is wrong.

I guess we should wait untill we lose 10 games in a row with Rafer, before we throw Francis in and expect him to develop rapport with the starters after only one fricking game, and when he doesnt, try to crucify him

I think the stats proves that he still has game to compete because many people say he is washed up

francis isn't washed up. you dont become washed up after 9 years in the league while having no significant injuries. you dont go from a former all-star to a bench warmer in a span of 2-3 years. he's a pro athlete. the only thing he might have lost is a step. dont you all remember the insane putback dunk he had in the preseason? noone was saying he was washed up then. the problem with francis is he was overrated since the beginning of his career. now that hes been around for a while his weaknesses have been exposed, which SHOULD have been evident to you francis huggers when he kept being cast away by various teams. (magic got rid of him, new york hated him, and portland didnt even look at him) now he's back in houston and not even in the rotation. he could get away with his raw athleticism early in his career, but that wont cut it now, and his flaws are more exposed than ever.

chemistry? what the hell happened to detroit last year. they lost to the cavs... who lost to the spurs in 4. so much for chemistry eh? what happened to the houston rockets in the 04-05 season, with barry, wesly, james, and sura. so much chemistry, but a 40 point loss to the dallas in game 7 of the FIRST FREAKIN round. you're overatting chemistry here. miami got their championship cause they valued firepower over chemistry.

oh yeah, the only thing good about Rafer is that he can get the ball to Yao, thats all. And last i checked, that was not the only function of a pg, a pg that can't shoot jumpers or make layups.

Rafer has no upside, all flaws, well maybe except he can run the ball to Yao. Please, dont tell me he is the only person on the team that can get the ball to YAo

chemistry? the best player in this team (yao) has utmost respect and looks up to this guy

and wasn't chemistry the reason why jvg didn't give the green signal to trade juwan howard for mike james last year which could have probably got us out of the first round?

we need weapons in the playoffs.. steve francis is legit and proven weapon in the playoffs while luther is not..
