Yao has been more passive offensively this season but only because he can be. He has offensive weapons around him who can score when left uncovered. Yao also knows that moving the ball and finding the open man can get him easier shots closer to the basket because it forces the defense to adjust. It gives him offensive rebound opportunities and it gives him the opportunity to flash in the paint from the weak side and get an easy shot close to the basket.

I dont mind Yao passing out of double teams so long as other guys are doing their jobs and the offense is functioning.

That is my expectation too. I do not think Rox should/would depend on one person only, no matter he is Yao or T-MAC or Artest, because they are coached by RA.

That is also partially TRUE. Rox lost because the refs screwed a lot! :)

He has taken his game up a notch especially offensively. He was brilliant down the stretch tonight and he played almost the entire fourth quarter.

I think he has answered questions of whether or not he can lead the team.

How many dunks has Yao gotten the last 3 games? That's what sticks out to me. He's not looking to lay it up anymore. If he's near the basket, he's trying to dunk it.

I think it's fair to say that he has stepped up. I am loving our games now. Absolute fine entertainment.

He stepped up (with his plays), and he sit down (with bad calls).
