we get the first pick again and take LeBron James

Francis - first player since Oscar Robertson to average a triple double during the season
Mobley - makes first all star appearance, averaging 20 ppg
James - Unanimous rookie of the year
Griffin - only player in the league to be in top ten in blocks, rebounds, and field goal percentage
Ming - first in the leage in blocks and wins defensive player of the year

1988 - Palace at Auburn Hills opens - Pistons win NBA title

1999 - Staples Center opens - Lakers win NBA title

2003 - New arena in Houston opens - Rocket win NBA title with a 73-9 regular season record and becoming the first NBA team to go 15-0 in the playoffs

46 wins, and making the playoffs by a nose!

However, once in the playoffs, don't be surprised if the Rocks gives the #1 or #2 seed a serious scare.

I was really going to break this down game by game (analysis also), but as I was typing I hit something and it all disappeared.

I'm not doing that again. I say 50 wins this year.

The key to our season is going to be Francis and his headaches. . . . if they're gone we'll win 50. . . if not. . .35. . . .Cato is going to have his very best year as a Rocket. . . .Yao and Collier will be adequate subs. Kenny Thomas will be better than ever, and finally Francis will quit trying to be a power forward and reduce his injury time . . . Mobley will be great. . . .Moochie will let us play small ball when ever Coach wants to change the game . . .
Mo Taylor and Glen Rice are going to be over their injuries. . . and attendance will rise. . . all will be right in the world of the Rockets. . . .Shaq will suffer an injury and we will be champions once again.
