It's not too early to talk about next season.

Bonzi is a free agent this summer.

Next season, Bobby Jackson will be a 6mil expiring contract ...which may be a great bargening chip next season.

Bonzi, while definately is a loss for us, wasn't the "missing" peice to turn us into a contender this season ...and he won't be here next season.

So as a casual fan, it's a loss ...but as a die-hard Rockets fan (that's what we are here, right?), I understand this move. Losing Bonzi is a minor blow this season but it sets us up for the future.

Plus losing Bonzi will get Novak more minutes ...and frankly I feel his shooting can be a huge lift for this team if we can get him comfortably into the rotation with more minutes/experience.

Bonzi's points won't be missed. His rebounding WILL be, however. But given the emergence of Landry and Scola, they can pick up the rebounding slack.

So I'm "blah" about losing him. I'm fine with it.

Everyone b****ing about Les better have courtside tickets to support the team financially. It is pathetic the crowds that turn out for Rocket games.

Im not saying Les is a great owner, but if I paid that much for a team I sure as hell would try to make a profit as well. And you all act like he wont spend a thing and cripples this team.

He has two max players on his team. He allowed Morey to go over the tax to get Scola and Francis signed. He bought Carl Landry for millions. He paid cash consideration with both trades yesterday.

We lost Bonzi Wells to get under the cap and got veteran help at the PG position which everyone screams is our weakness. We set ourselves up to be much bigger players next year, and it cost us Bonzi Wells. Stop acting like he traded Gasol for Kwame Brown.
